Maybe Strike Squads will make up the 'normal' Grey Knight squads.

Somewhere in the dark...

Can we confirm that NDH is basically TH with daemonbane and a force weapon to boot?

And would that mean it doubles the strength of the user and does it hit at initiative 1?

Also,

Mordrak + the librarian and ghost knights can accurately deepstrike into the enemies lines on turn 1. The libby with a teleport homer summons a land raider redeemer (with the ability to let it get teleported) filled with 5-7 paladins, as 2 dreadknights teleport to the front of the army lines (with personal teleporters) and let rip, alongside a couple of strike squads with their teleport homers. I wonder how many GK armies are going to be able to just win outright by, say, turn 2? Throw a vindicare in there too with infiltrate to pop a tank. It's looking quite cheesy but I like it!

Im a bit disapointed with GW... I hoped it would come as 10 man box, in Space Wolves style. That would bought me to the army instantly, even if it comes with the price of, lets say, a termie squad. Now i just hope it comes with lots of extra bits, enough for 10-15 guys when paired with a regular Space Marines squad... If that proves possible, i can see all my Space Marines becoming GK...

Some old guy on there can explain one thing to me? Nemesis Force Weapons, being force weapons means that all the squad attacks are "Power Weapon", and the Justicar kill instantly when they pass the Force Weapon test?

One other thing, as i understand, people will not could pair Hammerhand and Nemesis Force Daemonhammer. Active a Force weapon "Instakill" is a psychic power, and i doubt the regular squad could use 2 powers per turn...

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...
My take on Demiurgs (enjoy the reading):

Good luck deep striking a land raider within 6" of the model without teleport homer (since it wasn't active at beginning of turn it does not work)

using 2 powers per turn the squad cannot do and has been a pretty big oversight everyone has been making

I'm not an old guy, but yeah, a GK squad basically counts as one Psyker. So I guess you can either use one of the squad's psychic powers, or make one of the wounds caused in close combat by a nemesis weapon inflict Instant Death, like you said.

Just stay up all night watching for the Advance Order pics to go live on the GW website. Pictures should be up in not much more than 12 hours at this point, maybe sooner since the UK is five hours ahead of the US EST.

They usually post at 5:00 PM GMT. That's about 19 and a half hours from now.

Also, if they do cock up GK codex, I'm just going to point out that it's not called 'daemonhunters,' and so the current Codex: Daemonhunters is still valid.

I don't know about that. Last time Advance Orders went up on a Wednesday, which is the standard day for that now, they were already showing early in the morning here on the US east coast and were already all over the forums well before I even woke up early in the morning. GW doesn't wait till late in the day to post Advance Orders, they get them up nice and early so you can go online or to the order point in your local store and spend money as early as possible that day. 5:00 AM GMT would seem more likely than 5:00 PM. The whole point of moving the Advance Order day to Wednesdays was to allow the 5-day stores that are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays to capture Advance Order dollars when the excitement is there right after they become available. I put my last Advance Order in at my local store as soon as it opened on a Wednesday and that was well before 5 PM GMT.

True, the actual advance orders will probably go up sooner, and anybody who gets the emails they send will probably get one some time in the morning. Must remember to check my email early tomorrow.

I do remember the O&G going up quite early, but I'm fairly sure for the other pre-orders they tend to hit between 1-4ish UK time.

I don't think so. That would make it near or past store closing at a lot of US stores and again, the last time, actually the last couple times I Advance Ordered on a Wednesday at a GW store as soon as the orders went up it was early in the day. Same with Dark Eldar, which was before the shift to Wednesdays. The DE went up on a Tuesday and I Advance Ordered early that morning at a local store, one of the few remaining open on Tuesdays.

Yeah, GW is not going to pass up a whole day of sales in the US and most of the day in the UK and Europe by waiting till 5 PM GMT. That is just not correct and none of the recent Advance Orders have been up that late.

Maybe i'm just getting confuzzled with what's new today.

The Termi's are 5 to a box. They are the best of all the new models I expect them to sell well, regardless of apparent effect on table.

P.S I love the Apothecary terminator the most, I'll keep saying it, but he really is.

I'm just gonna keep using my old metal termies. having more than one squad of them just seems excessive. But if they are relatively cheep I might make it up to 10 man.

The main thing I'm looking forward to is the assault squad equiv.

Not officially. There are some blurry leaked ones though. If I do get some, I'm going to use my home-made nemesis force weapons (aka, Chaos Knight weapons with the chaos marks removed), then leaving their NFWs for my other squads.

As long as the basic design is very similar, I'm not worried though.

I already have Stern and Corteaz, I hope the new rules for them are good. Although I heard Stern was going the way of Mephiston, so we can expect an ungodly new character soon.

As I mentioned in an earlier post today. the PAGK box was $35 US for 5 models. Here's that little discussion again from the previous page:

66 dollars for a 10 man squad is pretty high
Agreed, but it's not new or news. It's the same price as 10 Death Company or 10 Sanguinary Guard. Grey Knights Power Armor Trooper box sets were $35 US when they were made of pewter, so did anyone really expect they'd be that much cheaper in plastic? At least the plastic ones will likely come with optional extra bits and be quicker to assemble.
