Hi all. Just saying hello.

Im a guy who's been out of the hobby of gaming (40k/WHFB) for a good few years now. However I still cant walk past my local GW without stopping to look in the window, and Im feeling the urge, so Im going to get myself back into the whole hobby. Unfortunatley this means Im starting from scratch, both in terms of paints etc, and of skills!

So expect some daft questions heading your way.

Gonna go get a few paints, brushes, and a few Space Marines on fri and take it from there! I can feel the addiction returning already.....

Ah well, guess theres no point in fighting it!

How is it they live in such harmony - the billions of stars - when most men can barely go a minute without declaring war in their minds about someone they know.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

More loyalist marine scum to face the glorious forces of chaos? Excellent [bwahaha]

And welcome to Dakka

And one thing I advise getting is a set of GW (or another painting company) washes. They instantly add so much to your models by creating natural shade and highlights on even the most basic paint scheme.
