A Chaos Space marine alliance-Thousand sons, Skyra's Dark Wolves, but mainly Death Guard.
Dark Angels.
Wardens Mortalis (a homebrew chapter).
And Renegade Imperial Guardsmen.

Well you see, Space Marines follow any of the specific codex rules. SPESS MAHRINZ are an over-powered all destroying force that epicly pwn anything against them.

I believe their battle cry is something like "WE R THE SPEHS MARENZ N WE KILL ALL DA ALIENZ TO THER DEFFS FOR DA EMPRA!"

That is very true. Every space wolf and blood angel player i have ever faced has always mistaken me as a noob to the game. Then i mop their floors with my massive army of plasma weapons. Which works on every single race known to the entire 40k community. Not only that but i kick noob arse even when they go over points by 2,000.
I am a space marine player since 3rd ed. I am 16 years old. And i am awesome compared to those bad space marine players.

I started way back in 86 with chaos and won my first turney got a castle trophy and well chaos rules you all drool. I have tinkered with space marines, nids, orks and eldar but nothing beats chaos marines in close combat a Khorne/Nurgle based army can not be beat in my opinion.

Orks and Vanilla SM (Angels Porphyr), for me. I lucked out, coming in with 5th ed. where the boxed set had the two armies I would have been most likely to pick, independently.

A nice large 3000pt army of Tau (With shadowsun as one of my HQ's)

To this current day i've been building a blood angel army.. mainly because i'm a lover of the color red (my tau are all painted in reds and whites). Several things with blood angels i also fell in love with were Sanguinary Guard, Gaberial Seth and the Death company models. With so many bits in the DC box i'm making plastic vets with the extra parts.

Imperial Guard are the ones I play when I feel like winning, otherwise I play the Marines or the 'Nids.

No embarassment. In fact, last weekend I played a doubles game with the other guy that has space marines. We totally popped our collars, switched out the Guiness for Bud Light, and hummed the Halo theme. At one point, we actually did a chest bump. It was awesome, bro.

I got demons in my army listing heck a whole 12 lesser demons with banners and instraments but never used them once, my greater demon well gotta sacrafice a hero to get him and he is the bomb with a demon sword +2d6 att, 3 att +1 mark of knorne and a +1 for charge that can be 15 attacks if your lucky. But my havocs have my fire power love and teamed with knorne bezerkers well gimme my objective and I will keep it.

As for this Space Marine deal, I've seen some completely ridiculous players and little kids playing them.

I've also seen some very mature and smart older people play them. But for some reason they mostly play Blood Angels

i play Space marines, because, Strike crusiers are really star destoryers, Orbital strikes are really Tubro lasers, SM are really Storm troops, and Tiggie and Calgar are really darth vader and Sith lord Sidious. oh yeah and it's my WILL that i subject the Galaxy to.

Space marines (and IG) = the REAL Bad guys of the 40-verse
