Now, I just need to decide which sorcerer model to use...... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........
The dark elf one is the most obvious, as I'm starting Dark Eldar, but it's also my least favorite- the others all rock.
So I'll have to think about that... maybe I can make the first one into a Haemonculus?

I'm planing on making a Haemonculus too! but I've been eyeing up the Vampire Counts Necromancer and Tzeentch Sorcerer Lord... I've just got to work out how to apply a race and sex change as my Dark Eldar are all female... The only thing I decided so far is that I must rule out using the Dark Elf Sorceress as my entry... way to easy! PAnic...

Agreed- too easy! I'm thinking of using the one with the long legs, whatever he is...
Also, a suggestion for the thread title- maybe include the word "Open" (as in, "Open P&M Contest" or the like) to distinguish it from the other (which is listed as Invitational in the title) for those just scanning / coming upon them for the first time.
Definitely looking forward to this

I hereby state my presence in this contestional thread, though at the same time I would not necessarily say I'm the quickest to move sort of fellow. So, here's at least a shot at having a miniature in by September 9. This should prove some getting around to doing stuff time, I think. After all, what's better motivation than a deadline?

Yes, we changed the title, when more and more people failed to recognize, that, while we were welcoming everybody's interest, it was clear to us from the start we couldn't take everybody in.
It said from the very beginning, that we were planning "to invite some friends".
And be assured nobody laughed at you, why would we? Also how do you think you know that somebody laughed? I don't remember any despective comments towards anybody who wanted to join!
Sorry that we didn't make it totally clear from the beginning, but there was the fair chance of reading the first post, which you must have overlooked.

Surely if your making a counts as mini for 40k it'll be on a round base.
I've just noticed the Tzeentch Sorcerer Lord's feet are on the base :(
It will be tricky to slice those free without damaging them.
