It would really benefit from some heraldry and some more visual interest on the armor. It is not to late to mask and airbrush in some patterns. Honestly, I think black flames faded into the armor would look awesome. Or some Chaos emblems airbrushed in reverse maybe, such as spraying a spot of bone color, mask off a Chaos star, then spray a dark, visceral red. Would pop like crazy and give it some needed visual interest.

I see what you mean. Making a corrupted knight certainly call for creative symbolism and signs of dark allegiance.
At some point I had some idea of hinted ghastly and tormented faces playing over the shoulderpads. Not sure I could pull it of though
I struggled with a design for the heraldic shield but finaly decided to remove it alltogether.
I dont have an airbrush, and dont really plan to get one, but I will actually consider some of the design ideas you have.
The thing is, I wanted the whole thing to have a pale and foggy feel, and was afraid a sharp red logotype on the armour would look of.

Thanks for the feedback!

Excellent piece of work! One of the best Knight Titans I've seen!

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

Ah, yea. Without an airbrush, it might be tough and if you don't want high contrast, how about going in and adding a pattern across some areas done in your shadow color, then with a thinner line on the bottom of it in the highlight color, then maybe using your "glow" color very, very thinly in the center of it to make it look like swirling, ornate ghost armor?

Just a thought. Would take a lot of steady brush work and planning though.

You really should look into an airbrush though - they are worth the investment.

Loving the tentacle beard. That really sells it.

What bitz did you use?

Thanks! The "head" was my original idea that made me decide to do this project. The tentacles are basicly just the tentacle arm from the helbrute kit, put together with one of the crows/halos from the same kit, and some minor tentacles in between.

The head is absolutely amazing, great idea and execution of the conversion! And I personally quite like the current pose

I wish I could add something insightful, but my fellow dakkanaughts seem to have covered most of it already. It's an amazing vision brought masterfully to reality. The tentacles beard, massive horn protruding from the body, trapped soul... it's all so wonderfully put together.

My only thought for improvement is to do something with the 3 spikes on top of the chain sword. They're attached to that bar and it just looks like it was stuck on there as an afterthought rather than being an integrated part of this monster machine. I know it's probably too late, but I think that if the bottom bar was removed and each spike was individually attached to the chainsword housing it would have looked better.

Minor point though... just a fantastically horrible and intimidating machine! Well done.

Exalted. Glorious, but not over the top -- I'd be very cautious about adding more detail.

I love the idea of corrupted or decrepit Titans. I have rules for an Ecclesiarchy "Penitent Titan" -- basically a Warhound wicker man -- in my fandex/expandex, but I wouldn't dare take on the conversion work. Maybe it'll give you some ideas... you can chain heretics to the outside and Repentia can hitch a ride on the legs!

Well, if you check out Sister Sydney's homebrew/expansion rules, you'll find all kinds of units the Sisters could have, that fit with the theme of the Sisters (as a tabletop army) perfectly well, and are damn-near-perfectly balanced.

I’m updating that fandex now & I’m eager for feedback on new home-brew units for the Sisters: Sororitas Bikers, infiltrators & Novices, tanks, flyers, characters, superheavies, Frateris Militia, and now Confessors and Battle Conclave characters

Very cool, but it almost looks as though you got to the top and said "good enough..." during the modelling. Everything below the shoulders, from a modelling standpoint, is phenomenal, and just a bit more filling out and a sense of animation up top, continuing with some tentacles or even just a bit more space-filling to break up the lines along the top could have brought the whole thing together nicely. That said, excellent paintjob and concept. I commend you.
