Don't get me wrong I enjoy the big games, but they do take time and there's just so much going on.

Earth

If a Necron unit is destroyed, its models then WBB into an ajacent unit, it still counts as destroyed, as it ceases to be an independent unit, it also loses all EXP as it is destroyed.

If Destroyers are hit by str8 AP1 they still get WBB due to T5, AP has no effect.
If hit by STR 10 they suffer ID, as such would be denied WBB, unless a lord is in 6" with an Orb.

Hope that helps

I thought WBB was bascially the same as FnP as in instant death, Ap1, AP2 and PW neagted it (plus the thing about having to have another uniot of that type) and it was only the orb that allows them to ignore all of them (except the unit thing).

But still, possible furious charge ymgarls.
St6 on the charge!

oh yea, and is the 'nid special rule not losing EXP, becasue of the hive mind adsorbing all useful information to adapt into the new unit.

Ok quick bit of fluff for the conclusion, I haven't proof read so go easy. Also apologies to all disorder plays but I've kept your individual forces deliberatly vague as it doesn't make sense for crons to be working with Chaos. Also remember it is from an imperial History perspective, but if there is anything you are unhappy with or want added let me know and i'll try to work it in.

Oh and Lorna it was me, my bad you did say 450

Round 1 – The Campaign Begins
Conclusion
The Crusade to Liberate Golgotha appeared to trip at the first hurdle as the imperial forces were unable to achieve either of the objectives they had set them selves in these initial phases.

The raid on ________________ failed to draw the attention that Imperial Commanders had hoped for. Only a fraction of the oppositions force was moved to engage the diversionary attack. This failure was compounded by the heavy losses that the raiding force took, which forced them with withdraw and regroup.
Whether the enemy knew this raid was a diversion or Imperial tactician had over estimated the enemies tactical response will be long debated by historians. As will the conspiratorial theories that surrounded the botched raid, rumours of spies and treason where writhe, although the notion of treason within the Crusade force is preposterous, these theories gained merit due the large number of executions carried out by the Commissariat shortly afterwards.

The main assault on ______________ faired little better as element of the 112th, Crimson Fist and Blood Angels clashed with a myriad of heretics and xenos. Although the imperial forces were able occupy a strong defensive position and to capture one of the power nodes early in the battle they were unable to consolidate these gains and push on to capture the remaining nodes.
The Battle was ended prematurely by a hellish storm that could only have been the result of Warp Sorcery of the worse kind as both imperial and heretical forces were blinded by sheets of blood raining from the sky and deafened by thunder more akin the roars of fell beast. Priest, Chaplains and Tech Magi were despatched on mass to the surviving imperial forces to offer blessings and to re-sanctify equipment.

However there was some solace to be taken in these dark days of the crusade, unbeknownst to Imperial Command the enigmatic Eldar had launched raids of their own and had succeeded where imperial forces had failed, managing to draw substantial resources away from the main offensive. Whether these devious and base xenos were working in concert with imperial forces or towards there own agenda may never be know, as the mind of a xeno is as unfathomable as the deepest voids of space.

With the space port denied them and failure of their raids the Imperial forces were unable to achieve the strong beach they had desired, but with the emperor blessing the crusade was far from over as the imperial tacticians had created contingency plans and a lesser beachhead was still secured in preparation for the next phase of the crusade. However the Imperial Crusade had lost the initiative and was now firmly on the back foot.

They do but only in my head, because my drawing isn't that good and I can't use anything more fancy than paint.

It’s a silhouette of a rooster on top of skull or stamping on a snake depends if you want 33rd Jalvene or 112th task force. failing that is the articles of penitance which is just a scoll hanging froma flag pole.

Nah 112th is my Jalvene Task force, all my army not just the inf.

Don't think we named the Crusade Force. It would be cool if we could come up with a symbol for Golgotha.

generally yes, it like to quaff at the local ayle house, what!

A rogue moon is a planetoid with either a declining orbit (moving away from planet, odd eh?)
Or Reclining (it gonna go boom boom with the planet.)

it is the Golgotha Crusade. Lorna asked if my Guard had a symbol, which make sense as most the games are going to be one on one now aren't they?

There nothing wrong with detail just don't let it bog you down.

@Gorillawizard there are no Pool on Hope End that's why the Jalvene are taking their own water "The Jalvene bringing pools to the Galaxy since M31".

Oh and thanks again for the fantasy game sorry for being a little rubbish.

nah it wasn't rubbish, it was your first game so expect more like it till you get to know your army better. I may even have orcs and goblins soon so i'll be in the same boat, and their leadership is worse than Beastmen by far

yep every army does work better at higher points, you'll probably want to add in a Brey shaman and the lists that i've seen all have a Doombull in there. And some Ambushers which are fun

From what I saw of the game I'd say you did pretty well considering it was your first proper fantasy game and you've chosen a very tricky to use army.

I was to hesitant about charging, ended up with 20 bestigors doing nothing and 30 Gors just getting blown up. Yep trying to ensure I got the charge off but it would probably have been better just to get in combat.

Yeah thinking about trying to include Slugtongue, a BSB and if the points allow a large unit of ungors with Ungrol.
