Damn I don't have any Fantasy armies usable atm (DE need repairs, Empire building) oh well I guess I won't be painting my White Minotaurs tomorrow but building halberdiers instead.

Hopefully I'll have a 1k Empire army ready to be used by Thurs.

I don't think i'm going to make it tonight, i've got a colleagues leaving drinks after work.

I was hoping to try my beastmen again and see if I could actually get into combat this time

Am I meant to be writing any fluff for the campaign at the moment?

Just the missions if you haven't.
But i don't think anything else is needed, you write the follow up didn't you?

And by the missions, I mean the fluff for them. Formy has done the missions.

Deployment: Standard
4x4

Sooo we are going to need buildings and tree's if possible guys, most of the terrain we already have.

As normal comment and shizzle

ok I'll try writing some fluff for it, probably something about depriving the enemy of Water, food and shelter.

The water for my oasis still hasn't cleared NO terrain? what about Cacti?

I can bring the Red Aquilla (pub) if you like but personally I think its a bit poor, need to do more to it to finish it off.

Fluff and stuff for round two, as always comments and additions welcome. Were the handouts useful? If people want hand outs again, let me know? if not i'll only print a couple.

I notice we don't have a points limit for game 3.

Weren't nids and Crons on the same side in first round? and how do you know who your playing? I thought the evil side were placing their first tile this week. Are we even using the planetary empires set now?

@ Formosa - can you confirm which planets were involved in round 1 want to fill the gaps in on the fluff. Also why the model cap for orbital debris?

Round 2 – The Essentials of Life

With the Imperial Crusades opening gambit proving less successful than hoped for, the imperial forces were forced the begin the second phase of the liberation of the Golgotha system in a weakened position.
An army is a living, breathing creature. It has needs and wants, the same needs and wants as all life; Shelter for Protection and Warmth., Food for sustenance and nutrition and water to slate your thirst. It was upon these basic principals that the next offensive was based. The armies of the Emperor, having been denied the Star Port, needed a regular source of supplies as well as strong foothold and what beter way to get them than take them from the enemies of mankind. The Tacticians of the crusade set their sights on three locations.

Planet: Hopes End
Mission: "Watered Down"
The first location that had been designated of strategic importance was a well spring on the planet of “Hopes End”. At first glance it may seem a fool’s errand to look for water on a dessert planet however the attack on the well was more about taking the water from the opposition, as the imperial fleet had brought plenty of water supplies with them.
Imperial tactician had reasoned that if a ground war was to be prosecuted on Hopes End then the availability of water would be a key factor. If imperial forces could take the spring from the enemy it would greatly add to their own supplies ass well as freeing ground units from having to rely on fleet based supplies. The operation would have the added bonus of forcing the opposition to deal with another enemy, thirst. The tactician had however neglected to account for the blinding dessert winds; the day of the attack a particularly fierce sand storm swept the area causing the Imperial attack force to lose cohesion at the crucial moment. With time a constant factor the imperials attacked regardless of their fragmented state.

Type Objectives: 1 place in the centre of the board.
Deployment: Bad guys set up normally
Good guys: Deploy everything in 2 waves, first wave automatically comes in on turn 1, turn 2 reserves rolled for as normal
Bad Guys deploy in centre of board around (Alex's) Oasis
Good guys may deploy from either long table edge
Victory: Good guys must hold Oasis by the end of the game, to hold the objective work out who has the most wounds (units) in the oasis
Special Rules: No terrain: Its a desert
Dust storm: Due to the howling dust storm that covers Hope's End, everything receives a 5+ cover save, this overrules ALL other cover saves (except those that are conferred by war gear)
Points 1750pts
Table 6x4

Planet: Cordoza
Mission: "Street battle"
The second site was the city of Formopolis on the planet of Cordoza. Formopolois, although not the capital city, was strategically advantageous as it was believed to be the site of loyalist resistance, if true the loyalist may posses valuable Intel on the state of the system. In addition the city was said to have been visited by Saint Jennifer. Its capture would provide imperial forces with a strong foothold on the planet as well as a huge morale boost to the Crusade as a whole. The fighting would be desperate and bitter as both sides thought for dominance in a city that had already been destroyed by a bloody civil war that had already stained the stone work red with the blood of thousands. To make matters worse the fleets actions in the space around Cordoza had caused a number of the asteroids orbiting the planet to shift trajectory resulting in numerous orbital impacts.

Type: Cities of Death
Deployment 8" deployment
Victory : Most Buildings held
Special Rules: Orbital Debris: both players roll a dice, the winner may drop a satellite upon any enemy that consists of 6 or more models, the unit take d6 str4 hits no armour save (fell from orbit.), but cover may be taken as normal
1 Stratagem
Points: 1500
Table 4x4

Planet: Nehkiah
Mission: "Food Glorious Food"
The final but by no means least target was an agri-complex on the Jungle planet of Nehkiah. The agri-complex had been established millennia ago to take advantage of the rich soil of Nekiah. The complex produced large quantities of crops which were shipped across the entire system. The loss of this complex, although not fatal, would be a powerful blow to the opposition and potentially put a huge dent in their moral as well as their logistic.
The complex was surrounded by dense jungle so thick that an army could be standing 20 yards in front of you and you’d never know which would greatly aid a sneak attack, however it made judging the size and disposition of the enemy force impossible.

Type: Objectives
Deployment Pitched Battle
Victory: The fields (marks and my own) are the objectives (also alex's pub if he wants to bring it)
Special Rules: Its a jungle out there: due to the huge amount of jungle this planet has, it makes it next to impossible to track enemy units, Any troops choice with a save less than 3+ may outflank (i.e, Terminators or any other 2+ amour save model may not outflank, this includes characters of any type)

I'm playing connor becasue my ymgarls are hiding somewhere and therefore i can't go up to 1750 and connor wanted to play me. this be why i'm paying him. Plus, i'm not goddamn playing eldar again. plus, i wanna play chaos, seeing as we are the two forces that are causing all this trouble in gologtha.

First how have you lost your ymgarls?

And secondly the original fluff doesn't work anymore, it stopped working with the first mission when stopped being a map based campaign ans became a good vs evil campaign.

I don't care who you fight I just need to know in advance for fluff sake. I need to know who else will be fighting the jungle campaign and if one of you is going to be good for the sake of that one battle or what.

If this is still a map campaign with no fixed sides why do we have scenarios?
