I'm professionally unemployed. I just graduated, and nobody wants to hire someone with a bachelors in anthropology.
I have a part time job that I absolutely loathe, but it really just pays for beer, so I don't count that as employment.

From what I hear from my buddy, you don't get to decide much at all in the military. He describes an almost complete lack of decision-making power, in fact.

When you're fighting, you decide if you're gonna shoot the enemy or not. That's a decision right there.

Actually, the recession has done wonders for easing congestion. Traffic levels in the UK have declined two years in a row. This is the first time this has happened since the war.

Which is just as well, because they've slashed transport budgets in the UK. Still, so long as we're kicking Taliban arse, that's the main thing.

The genius of the UK benefits system. You know the Poles all went home last year, discovered that there were no jobs there either and then all came back again to sign on the dole.
