Hi guys

It’s my Grandma’s fault! She bought Hero Quest when it was voted board game of the year and then she really didn’t get it. Gave it to me and my imagination was sparked. Then my mum took me shopping for a school uniform and we walked past GW Preston…in the window a fully painted skeleton army. Quick diversion into the shop and I was the proud owner of the Skeleton Hoard box and some bleached bone paint.

Then came second edition where my love for 40k started. I had Eldar and Emperor’s Children armies. Sadly since second edition I’ve never had a fully painted army (The only reason they were painted back then was due to the Characters being 50% of my army!). Now I play 40k with Eldar, Death Guard and World Eaters armies.

Back in 95 GW released my favourite game Necromunda, which is the main reason I’ve joined Dakka Dakka. A little google search for Necromunda odds and sods and a few links later my mouth hits the desk as the Jade Vessel appeared in alls its glory. Thanks Migsula, Col Hammer and Northern. A few other beautiful logs later I signed up yesterday. Thanks guys.

So I thought since I’ve been trying to build my Scavvies for the last 14 months and only finished three models a painting log might keep me on track for winter….

Anyway I prefer to paint character models or one offs that take my fancy. 15 models in the sameish colour scheme are enough for me. I paint slowly and do other things (mainly involving my fabulous girlfriend Abigail, who is amazingly understanding about my hobby to the extent of letting me have a painting table in our living room).

So there you go a little about me and i hope I've posted this right

Cheers Peter

Welcome.... grab an ale and find a chair. or build one what ever works for you.

Of all the races of the universe the Squats have the longest memories and the shortest tempers. They are uncouth, unpredictably violent, and frequently drunk. Overall, I'm glad they're on our side!

Hello and welcome to DAKKA DAKKA

Attempts by Company Commanders to call down close-ranged artillery fire can result in disastrous casualties amongst the Imperial Guard. Whilst the loss of life is regrettable, the waste of ammunition is INTOLERABLE!
