Aww.  I'd figured this was on an Galactic scale, where the Imperium is getting it's ass handed to it by Chaos and Orks. Otherwise Regiments and SM betraying each other would make no sense. Oh well.

His fists clenched tightly around the command rail, again the Ulthwe had eluded them they were always one step behind, he took solace in the fact that sooner or later they would get their comeuppance. Word had arrived with the Blood Axes though, a Vostroyan Regiment had arrived at Armageddon.

In moments new mortals manned the consoles. Their overseer cracked his whip at a ditherer before bowing to Shamanos.
One of the new crew spoke, his predecessor in a crumpled heap at his feet "E-E-Eldar fleet... Belltan.. has retreated to the Eye. What are your orders Lord?"
The Slaughter Lord considered this. His hatred and rage demanded to attack, but the eldar vermin had allied with the cockroaches, together they waited in the Eye, hoping that in his blood lust he would follow them and be crippled.
"We will wait." He decided.

"Milord!" Ivan brushed passed those on duty in the command center. "The Eldar Xenos have sent word. They will join us, but they have enemies outside of the system to deal with first. They should arrive in roughly two to three cycles."
Nicholai nodded. "Good. They will be welcome." The bunker shook as a missile struck somewhere above. Either a crude ork projectile or the sleeker, but no less devious, weapons that the heretics wielded. Nicholai hoped the Eldar held to their word. This was a battle that he was beggining to doubt the Vostroyans could win on their own.

Just noticed that FITZZ's reinforcement of the Goffs yesterday wasn't counted by other posters. Goffs are now at 16 after my attack, not 15.
