there used to be a website i had bookmarked that had boltgun fire effects and junk to make it look like htey were shooting, any guys know what im talking about i would love to find that site again

Those are some of the most rock-looking rocky spires I've ever seen. And those lava pools are excellent as well. If I had space to store terrain I would get some to make bubbling, murky swamps.

From what I have heard, zealot has a lot more stuff on the way. I know he had some female "tau looking" heads in the works and many other things.

I have no issue with other companies products, I think maxmini released a jumppack recently to compete with ours, thats fine, let the customer decided.

This is obvious...

Im not going to post anymore about this, I have emailed the individual and hopefully he will change the design. I hope I dont have to go the legal route, yuck.

Before everyone starts getting snarky with responses, there is a huge difference in creating custom parts for use with other products (ie Chapterhouse/Maxmini/etc vs Games workshop) and an artist taking a design they created for a customer and then selling the exact same design for someone else. I think this is where Chapterhouse is coming from.

I don't know... Its a bit hard to tell from thost pictures, I see a few differences.

The fans on the CH have a big rim, Z's doesn't - Z's blades go almost to the edge, CH doesn't. The center of the back is diff 2. CHs looks like it has more details on the sides of the thrusters. The exhausts look different.

I mean, how different can "twin rocket powered jetpack" be? It'll have 2 cylinders with a backpack between it. Its like diff companys making "energy swords". There is only so much difference you can put into a sword.

Those jump packs are very different. I can’t believe chapter house are complaining about their ip being violated, As theirs ( which are nice and I own) are a copy from someone else’s art work anyway.

Meh, the overall design between the two jump packs is similar... but when you're attaching a turbine to either side of a backpack, that's bound to happen.

The actual details are quite markedly different. The intake fans are a different size, the detailing on the backpack section is completely different, the exhaust petals are different, and the panel lines are different.

I think his problem is his sculptor did a product for another manufacturer and did practically the same sculpt with the same details and options.

No, his problem is that he commissioned a sculptor to make him a jump pack, and then the sculptor released a slightly different version of his own.

And as I just pointed out, it doesn't have the same details.

Edit: Having said that, I can certainly understand Chapterhouse's issue with it. Even if it does seem somewhat karmic.

I like CH jumpacks having just bought 20 of em, i also really like the zealot ones, my issue with zealot is the price, £3.49 a jump pack versus CH 5 for 10.00 dollars thats like £1.70 a jumppack which is less than half the price, the chainblade is nice but not double the price nice.
