If I could impart some advice as well, I light box is worth is weight! I made one out of an old cardboard box with baking paper (wax paper) it's added a whole new level to my models

Gah! Hey, I agree entirely - the paint job is fantastic, however, I cannot claim it to be my own. It is in fact the work of the infamous 'Eavy Metal Team. I'm working on some Marines at the moment (which have been waiting to be finished for a few years now), and I hope to show to you all soon! My gallery does need sorting out, perhaps with less sub-galleries, and I'd like to start another blog that is more focused than before. (Mantic FTW). I really like your commissar! What armies do you play?

As you may be able to tell from my gallery i've not done much painting in a while. I'm currently gathering mini's to make up some form of Ultramarines army and ebay is doing a great job of providing cheap OOP figures. I used to work for a local guy figure painting and doing the rounds of the games clubs in our area, i think doing it for a job really beat the love of it out of me and it's only in the last few months that i've got back into the hobby. I was big into Necromunda and Inquisitor when they first came out and i had some massive Necromunda gangs (a 90 man Delaque gang, all painted as black dudes was my crowning glory ha ha) me and a couple of mates would do weekend monster gang warfare battles. I live in a great area for games clubs and only minutes away from my local GW so once my army is up and running i hope to get back into the gaming. At the moment though it's just paint, paint, paint!
I'm working on a sweet little finecast commissar for displaying and entering my local GW finecast painting comp at the end of the month then it's onto some nice easy batch painting work as i pull together my Ultras army.
I'll stop now before i bore the hell out of you but cheers for the kind greeting.
