Welcome to DakkaDakka!
I have a pic from DOW of the 252nd Kauravan Conservators.

Using GW paints this is how I think it could be painted:
I'd say the flak armour looks like codex grey with a little bit of graveyard earth mixed in, maybe a 5:1 codex grey graveyard earth. You can Highlight this by adding successive amounts of skull white to the 5:1 codex grey graveyard earth mixture.
The green is probably Gretchin Green with and the camo spots maybe a 1:1 mix of Gretchin Green and Desert Yellow. Again You can Highlight this by adding successive amounts of skull white to the previous mixture.
The gold can be done with either Shining gold or brazen brass.
Use Chaos black highlighted with codex grey for the gun stock, boots and gloves.
Metal bits Boltgun metal highlighted with chainmail.
For faces I use Tanned flesh highlighted with Elf flesh.
Wash the whole thing with Devlan Mud and I think you might have a guardsman pretty close to this scheme.
Test this out on a test figure first to see if it works.
Hope this helps...
Have fun.

Thanks for the help.unfortunately i don't use gw products as i think they're ovepriced. but i'll find colours close to the ones you say. but do you know a way to get camo in a quicker way to paint as i have 150 guardsman to paint.i can do lots of camo but i'd like t have an army painted quicker as i dont have much time to paint.

This should help you match your paints to the GW ones:

As with camo here are some links that may help. The colours may be different but the skills are transferable.
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?catId=cat440173a&categoryId=400032§ion=&pIndex=3&aId=2400008&start=4&multiPageMode=true

And do the camo on your tanks the way that you think looks best or is eaiser to do as it seems you have to paint a lot.
