Been lurking for quite a while now but thought id finally join...lol. Recently started Dark Eldar and wanted to use them in an upcoming 1500 point tournament. My latest list is:

Welcome, few things off the bat(keep in mind this is purely from an optimization standpoint)

Putting the archon with your wracks isnt something id recommend, for one he loses his fleet rule, another thing is that in a 5man unit, always take a venom, one dark lance will kill nothing, you really need to roll mutiple dice at a time to have a chance at anything over AV 11. also i think the ghostplate armor is a bit redundant as once that field is gone, hes prolly gonna die right away, those would serve you better as flickers on your Razorwings i think.

I havent had much success running incubi out of a portal just because they have nothing that can attack an AV. more often than not youre just going to have to run them into cover until some vehicle pops. wyches are generally a better option since theyre cheaper and can do armor and infantry fairly well.

The beast squads are really only there for their insane wound distribution. trim some points and make it a mix of flocks and khyms and watch literally EVERYTHING die to them. I think the unit comes out to 156 and there are very few things int he game that can go toe to toe with them, especially if you dual assault with wyches. If you trimmed that warrior squad down to a venom with blaster you might have the points.

Thanks for the advice dude. Was mainly thinking about pain token distribution when I assigned the characters but you have a very good point. Would making the Wracks into a 9 man unit help? Had been thinking of some more beastmasters/beasts as i have a box of hellions minus theyre weapons sat doing nothing since I used the Hellglaives for my Incubi conversions...lol. I hadnt realised that Razorwing flocks were so effective will have to invest in some! Have been considering changing a few things to include some Grotesques and a Talos. Would they help the list overall do you think? Thanks for the feedback its really helpful as I have pretty much always played some form of Marine army and finally want a change but Im struggling with the transition...lol. Cheers.
