Thre was this game.. Where you played whit one non-vehicle model. There was this grechin and... Im gonna spare you the details.. He won

When I played against Tau, I got a lucky hit with my suicide scouts.

Came in behind the Hammerhead, Fire Warriors and Kroot. Got a lucky melta shot which caused the Hammerhead to detonate, killing about a 1/4 of the Kroot and half the Fire Warriors.

Sadly, my scouts got promptly ripped to shreds afterwards.

I love heroic Fire Warriors. Once a kan charged them. Three rounds later and one warrior was dead. On a totally diferent game a Trygon charged my warriors and i think you now where im heading, the trygon DIED! He had only one wound left, but still, im proud of those little bugers.

Best tactic I ever tried was markelighting the hell out of 2 squads of vanilla tac marines camping on an objective in cover ~9" from the board edge. TL Missiles to cause the min wounds for a morale check, and everyone always forgets the lights can drop Ld. Needless to say, 2 full tac squads were reduced to about 5 or 6 marines each, and scampered off the board.

Worst tactic was charging an Ethereal out of difficult terrain (Previously his ride) and into an assault marine squad...

You can't forget something that doesn't exist, sorry to say that you played that wrong, markerlight reduces leadership in regards to pinning (pg 29, Tau Codex) so their leadership for morale would be unaffected.

I didn't move thenm one against Sisters. It was a KP game he stayed out of range . except for the exorcists, I ended up winning 1-0.
Wrote a full battle report it was pretty funny.

One of my stupidest tactics is when I decided to charge my squad of 12 kroots with sharper to a unit of 30 hormagaunts... My kroots got slaughtered, and of course didn't have a chance to strike back... then the hormagaunts concolidated 6 inches and in their turn got close enough to charge my fire warriors..

i saw a friend put all 3 callidus assassins on nightbringer.they charged and lot their swords and were butcherd because they couldnt wound it.

I let a squad of 30 Gretchins charge my Dread on the first turn.... that Dread only ended up killing 8 Grots that game. Now if I only had Blood Talons on that thing.... >.<

There was an IG Platoon Command Squad next to a unit of TH/SS Terminators.

I figured, 'might as well charge and get the extra attacks'.

Little did I realize that the consolidation move would allow those TH/SS Terminators to slingshot into my tanks....

after losing to Tau for awhile I wanted to try a new list:
chapter master power sword
5 sternguard 3 combi plasma
10 tac marines melta Heavy bolter
10 tac marines flamer Plascannon
Vindicator
dreadnaught
I set up a gun line with the stern guard and chapter master in a tower on a flank, the vindicator between the tac squads and the dreadnaught on the other flank.
the Tau player... brought marines... lead by a master of the forge with conversion beamer... the tac squads had las cannons and a dreadnaught with plasmsa cannon...
First turn I lost my master and stern guard to the Beamer my dreadnaught to the las cannons and a tac squad to the rest...
I missed every shoot and the plasma cannon exploded.
next turn I lost all the weapons on the Vindicator and the other tac squad...
I tried to ram the dreadnaught, it caught it in its fist and immobilized it...
Complete defeat turn 2. No loss on his side

Played as chaos space marines, thought i was all that in cc, got into charging range of an entire ork army, turns out i wasnt all that.

I had a pretty fail moment a few games ago. I used a Battlewagon full of ten burnaz. I drove it forward towards an IG gun line, but i stopped to make sure that it was always going to be getting cover from my Big Meks, terrain etc. I moved it only about 6-12" per turn and by the time it was within tank shock, burny charge range, it got blown up by a Leman Russ, the burnaz got out, took casualties from shooting, and ran off the table. A total of about 340 points wasted to kill about 5 guardsmen with random pot shots from the Killcannon... yay... Next time I'll play like an actual ork player haha.

In a 2000pt game, I Rammed my Wave serpent on to the board into a rhino, going flat out. I destroyed the rhino and the serpent was immobilized destroying it and killing the contents. Which happened to be a full seer council. Essentially i traded 500 pts of HQ and transport for 35 pts of rhino.

In the end i managed to to tie the game, by having my harlequins gobble up about 2-3 units of chaos marines.

WORST TACTIC EVER

Charged forward with 15 sanguinary guard into shooting range of the night bringer an realise I can't hurt it in shooting, it assualts me and use his large template and kills 7 of them

then in my stupidity charged one of my two libby fuso dread into it and forgot it was charging through cover and went last and lost my force weapon LOL then his 3 destroyers charged my sanguinor and killed him. OMFG

at that point it was a lost game I need to cause a phase out Dante killed 10 warriors I needed 8 more to get phase out basicly the other unit of 8 warriors far far away with a night bringer in the way and 3 monoliths

I knew this was a fun game with Dante and sangunior with 15 sangunary guard and 2 libby fusodread

it's was funny Dante survived LOL till turn 6 haha

I was using my black templars against orks and i went to charge at them for CC and then......I got massacered.

Played against IG and went second, turbo boosted my entire army down one side since I didn't have Duke and didn't want to try to outflank.

I think this is probably the worst: Using a loaded DE Raider as a shield.

During team play, I had DE and my buddy had Daemons. We were facing Marines and Tyranids.

Mission: Kill everything.

They setup everything in a nice line across the table: 'nids on the left, marines on the right. We decided to hit the 'nids first then move to the marines.

After their move, half the daemons came in, all Pink Horrors. The DS scattered pretty far and they ended up closer to the middle of the table.

On my movement, I had a Raider with an Archon and 9 warriors. Thinking "I'll Save You!" I moved my Raider up to provide cover to the horrors by sitting between them and the marines. My Archon and warriors then jumped out and dropped a web portal to further block LOS.

It looked great! The 'nids were already cut off and the marines couldn't hit the horrors.

However... on their shooting phase, the marines promptly blew up my raider, killed the archon and all of the warriors with him.

This is an example of having about 350 points wiped out in order to save 190 points from a bad DS.

We probably should have called the game at that point because it didn't get any better. We were ultimately wiped out and I'm pretty sure they only lost a single unit of genestealers.

I've been letting Possessed spearhead my Khorne force every game for a while now.

Was playing as Guard against Eldar. The Eldar put everything in reserve, to prepare I ordered all my infantry to go to ground but forgot to pop smoke on any of my tanks. The Eldar deep strike in and make swiss cheese out of my rear armor.

This isnt stupid so much as unlucky. In a battle against my friend, he was chaos and i was ultrasmurfs(because he hates playing my guard and calls them unfair, even though he proxied all of his marines for thousand sons and actually owns none...). He played abaddon, and kept rolling 1's and took 3 wounds on himself, 1 of which killed himself. lol, suck that chaos!
