Hi peeps,
Been into Warhammer all my life but started collecting recently. Been avidly reading B&C forum and dakka-dakka. you dakka peeps seem pretty chilled!
Currently building a pretty standard Blood Angels Army which is comprising of:-
Commander Dante (not sure whether to do standard gold or Death Company...)
3 man squad of *COUGH COUGH*  Finecast Sternguard Vets (the 2 beakie's look like they've been melta'd pretty bad...)
5 man squad of Sanguinary Guard
Sanguinary priest (converted from Sanguinary Guard without wings and jump pack)
5 man squad of Death Company (non jump pack, 1 thunder hammer and 1 power fist with Plasma pistol (but thinking of swapping))
5 man Assault squad (with one lightning claw on sergeant)
15 man tactical squad with 2 sergeants to break down into 5 man combat squads in battle
Forgeworld Death Company Razorback with lascannon's
This adds up to approximately 1250 points and gonna be fighting alongside a 1250 points Dark Angels army. We'll be fighting against an equally weighted Chaos World Eaters army (with plasma cannon dread and Lord Zhufron, big axe and scary bolter fist) and Tyranids army. Fairly new to the gaming side, any pointers would be awesome! I'm looking to start a new chapter of Space Marines and will post up in the relevant section soon, will provide a link as I am after opinions towards rules and troops etc. so look forward to seeing you there!
I'm also collecting Wood elves but only have a battalion box set so far. Am liking the Autumnal colour scheme on the GW gallery!

Welcome to Dakka Just a side not Dante has never been a Death Company the only HQ that you can choose between normal and Death Company is Tycho. So for it to stay in with Blood Angel fluff dante has to be gold.
