Hello, I'm new to WH40K and have a SM army. I don't play a specific chapter but I prefer to stay back and shoot. Me and a friend have bought 2 AoBR boxes (we found out it''s cheaper to buy models in bulk) and have painted most of the first one. If anyone has some general advice on playing it would be most welcome. . :-)

Advice on Playing:
- Read The Rulebook
- Find someone to play some games with, possibly a club. (Preferably a veteran gamer who can help you learn the rules)

Welcome to Dakka!
As RaptorsTallon said, read the rule book (and your codex) cover to cover at least once. Start your games small, maybe 500-750 points and work your way up, adding in different unit types as you get more familiar with the rules.
