Just trying to get a feel for what others out there play, in my group we have a guy that plays Nids, a guy that lays chaos marines, a guy that plays sisters of battle, and a guy that plays regular space marines.

So dakka what army do you play games with the most?

It waxes and wanes. The totals in my signature say I've played more IG than anyone else, but most of those games were over a fairly brief period. Longer stretches of time with fewer games between them usually have me going back to my Crimson Fists. So, while I may have actually played more games with IG, Marines feel like they've always been my go-to army.

I have IG and Eldar but prefer to play Eldar.

over my 40k career I've probably played my CSM's and IG about the same, but I play my IG significantly more often than anything else right now. Haven't played my Eldar or Tau much recently.

Witch Hunters/Sisters of Battle...

Imperial Guard even though I don't have an army at the moment.

Compared to all the other forces i have used over the past twenty ish years, its far and ahread out in front, and that is due to it being my main army for a three year period where I was playing every other weekend.

At the moment I'll admit I am occasionally using Orks, but I noted Guard as I have a squad I'm working on at the moment, and will be rebuilding my Guard army fully come Jan next year.

Since the re-release I've only really played with my DE. There have been a few games with my normal Eldar, I'd probably say they are my 2nd favorite. I can't see myself using my good old Chaos army until their codex is fixed. My Daemons are really just an Apocalypse add-on for my CSM army.

Does this count for 40k games or tabletop, or perhaps both?
Anyway, i usually play as Chaos in dawn of war 1-2, but Grey Knights on tabletop (I haven't actually played as GKs yet, but i'm building an army.)

Tournaments: Ultramarines and when I'm feeling lazy, Blood Angels.

Club games: Anything, but I prefer my Ultramarines.

Inebriated: Orks, by far...

Space Marines. Specifically, Salamanders.

Imperial Guard...the best

The two armies I've had the longest are my SM and my Eldar. They BOTH get played about the same amount.
My GK is currently getting more time due to the fact that the other two have been in storage for the last 3 months.

My guard is played the least - because it isn't finished yet and I refuse to play with unpainted models in my army.

My Blood Angels are still my original and favorite army but I probably play Guard more because most of my opponents are marines of some flavor and bolters on power armor gets too boring

Necrons represent! ...the worst codex to try and play with T..T

I have been using my Flesh Tearers for a while and I'm tired of them, I can't wait to get my true love my ork horde out of storage. I want to have fun and wreck face at the same time, unlike the FT who barely come out on the winning side most of the time.

Tyranids, although that may change when my DE army gets up to full speed...

It's still GW official, but w/e. It could count as guard...
