I am new to Dakka Dakka, and what attracted me to this site originally were the large number of articles combined with the ability to share images of our armies. I have started collecting WHF and 40k miniatures before, but I never got a functioning army together. Recently, my buddy Steven bought AoBR and gave me the SMs on the condition that I paint his Orks. I figured I'd have to be crazy not to agree to that, so I began painting his Orks and coming up with my own chapter of Astartes, the Pathfinders. Once the Orks are done being painted, all their pictures will be up in my gallery (I only have a few boyz left and a couple deffkoptas) and I just have to finish the basing on my SMs before they are ready for the board.
I am interested in learning SM tactica, especially in regards to using Scouts and Fast-Attack as my primary attack force with tanks as heavy support. Since I owned a Leman Russ Executioner tank before I came into possession of the SMs, I am working it into the chapter's history that they liberated a Forge World that produced largely plasma technology and inherited a few tanks and guns in the process.

@Ogryn: No, the Pathfinders are supposed to be 26th founding, alongside the Invaders chapter and with a similar motive. Just with more plasma
