Sadly due to other issues, I have failed on this one, I will get her finished, but it won't be until well after the comp now.

It will be interesting to see how many models get finished from the starting lineup.

I'm also intrigued to see how many of the finished figures aren't the Chaos or Dark Elf sorcerers. I think a very very small percentage

Aaaarrrrgh! I managed to take some good pics of my model during my lunchbreak to post this afternoon but when I turned my home PC on to upload these pics, I heard a sad *bleeeeeeeeeeeep*... I'm affraid I won't be able to post any pics for a while (I knew something would get wrong, but I mainly thought of time running out, I didn't expect something like this...)

So the above pic will be the only one you'll get...at least I did it.

EEEK! I'm getting excited for all of you! I second endtransmission- this is kinda like the first Space Marine Conclave charity project by smurfwedge, we had 50+ people entering, but only came out with around 25-30 due to time constraints and packages being lost in the mail.

@Hyenajoe- Dang... sorry to hear about the comp... I love the look of that guy, especially the axe.

@Zefig- LOL, great mini, man!And yea, that guy has some awesome hair.

Well ladies and gents, it seems that I underestimated the humidity and now my priming job has done terrible things to my mini. I'm trying to strip it back to plastic real quick via a trip through a Super Clean bath on top of a load of laundry in the dryer, but I've got other obligations tonight so this might be curtains for me. It was a fun conversion though, and I'll try to post what I end up with even if it's not in time for the contast. Good luck to the rest of you, and cheers!

6 hours of painting... and she's almost done, and looking good in the team colours. But I'm getting sloppy so it's time to stop.

Mine is about done, but I'm knackered now so pics tomorrow although I feel my painting skills are really lacking after seeing some of the stuff here. But after all that effort I will be putting it up no matter what.

Going to have to drop myself. Haven't been able to get him past basecoating starges due to the amount of RL crap that hit the fan in the past month - best friend's relationship went south and I lost most of my time helping him pack, move house and being a friend.

I will get him done though and have something up in due time. Good luck to those that make it!

Moody walked into the Command centre and immediately felt the worse for it. His spine tingled and the room was a dank, rotten cold. Freezing, in fact. His augmetic arm already had frost forming along it. He growled under his breath "Psyker Witchcraft!"
Shivering and cursing, he continued into the dimly lit chamber.

Clustered around the glowing hololith of the capital city, were a number of figures, although none of them seemed to be any happier about the temperature. Moddy nodded stiffly to his fellows and bowed to the Militant Lor- General Dernbac,. "M'lord, you summoned me?"
"Yes Sargeant. I have a...special briefing for you" he replied haughtily, gesturing into the shadows to his right. Moody became aware of a rasping breath emanating out from the shadows. Masked by the unmistakeable sound of a respirator. A figure shuffled out from the shadows, pal, old and decrepid. His face was mostly covered by a respirator and his one good eye looked drowsy, his other a milky white, tinged disturbingly red. Bile came into Moody's mouth and he almost retched, but held his composure. "This is Hadouir Alyr. As you may have guessed he is a Psyker."
A prick at Moody's conscience made Moody put his hand out, meeting Alyr's. Moody hadn't even noticed it was there. A voice as laboured as the breathing eminated from him. "No need to not heed manners Sargeant." Moody snorted to hide his surprise. Alyr's grip was strong, and completely at odds with his appearance. It had a surety that can only come from knowledge and restrained power. Alyr became to make a horrible retching noise and Moody realised it was laughter. He stiffened in the knowledge that the psyker had reached into his mind once again.
"Moody, you are to escort Hadouir into battle..." Moody made to object but Dernbach waved away his protests. "I won't hear any of it Sargeant. Your squad has the lowest attrition rate in the whole company. And I intend to make sure Hadouir get's where he is needed. If anything he should bolster your sqaud."
"But sir. He's a psyker. A witch! The boys won't be willing to travel with it." The wheezing continued from behind him. "Besides, he'd be safer with your bodyguard."
"You know that's not true Moody. And don't make me order you."
Moody felt a hand on his augmetic arm, and the frost began to spread, rapidly. Leave it Moody, you do not want me as an enemy Moody shook his head to get the voice out.
"He's right Sargeant." spoke Dernbach, and Moody guessed that Alyr had projected that last sentence to everyone. "Right now, this man is possibly the strongest on the whole planet."
Lost for words, and still reeling from the psykic pressure on his mind, Moody threw a quick salute and stormed out from the room. Behind him, Hadouir Alyr began his slow, shuffling excuse for a walk after him.

I've had fun and these all look great. I think this stuff should really be sent to GW to show what can be done with these models. There's so much range in the conversions...

Well done everyone who has posted their final work already, it's looking good boys... Here's my entry!

She was originally thought up as a 'Counts as' the Decapitator model for my all girl Dark Eldar army.
But he has poor rules/costs too much pts... his bigest problem is a lack of grenades on a model that will most likely assault from cover...
So she will probably see play as a NightFiend for my in progress (wo)mandrakes.
