I'll be bringing six of those fluorescent green flags that show up so well in photos - so I'll have 2 - 4 spare I'd use my single warbiker - but then my second objective would be such a let down... That and I don't know that I can get him in my case...

No more painting for me - you'll all have to make do!

Anything will do. If it comes to it coins, glass beads or any other junk you can find will be OK - as long as its obvious what it is...

By the way, I've just had someone pull out due to an emergency, which gives us my nightmare - an odd number of people!!!!

Does anyone know someone they can drag in at the last minute??

While you sleep, they'll be waiting...

Have you thought about the Axis of Evil pension scheme?

Yeah, same here. I just don't have the time to finish everything! My deathkoptas are only undercoated, one trukk-boy squad is only basecoated, and my 3 trukks are only base coated. Everything else is done.

I've almost finished painting. Only had 9 full models and 6 weapons/arms to paint but I spent all last night painting (about 4 hours) and still did not get them done

Aww it's a real shame that everyone won't have painted armies, I'm bringing my camera to get some great shots for write-ups

I plan to finish off my stuff this evening. Though I don't have great painting skills, at least there will be some (diseased) colour to be seen

I've got all my models painted. Got objective markers too

Btw, a sort of shameless plug here too but my blog is www.imperiusdominatus.com I will be blogging to that during the day and will be posting ALL lists there after. Can you guys either PM me your list AFTER (or before) the tournament or e-mail imperiusdominatus@live.co.uk and I can pop it all on there.

Also, bat reps would be great.

With all that I can make a collection of posts dedicated for the tournament! Ah memories!

Really looking forward to this now. I'll see you guys all there, I'm the guy with the cow bag! Moooooooooooooo! lol. Come and introduce your self if I don't collar you first lol

I sit here now with my now completely primed force, despite my best efforts (and a day off work) I too will not have a fully painted Army.

Best I think that I will manage is having my tanks/walkers done, but the infantry (soooo many! why do I even like Guard I am now asking myself?) prolly wont be much cop.

Either way I'm loooking forward to meeting everyone and having a nose around WW.

See you there fellers.

I have arrived in Nottingham now so I'll be there. Annoyingly maelstrom are doing a deal tomorrow where you can buy Blitzkrieg early so I might nip off to their shop at some point during the day to pick that up

See you all tomorrow.

I'm on my way, on a train to Nottingham. Hurrah!

Unfortunately, I had printer issues this morning so I'll have to write out my list when I get there. So, for evidence and a sneaky advantage for everyone else, I shall be bringing....

* Keeper of Secrets (Soporific Musk, Transfixing Gaze)
* Keeper of Secrets (Soporific Musk)
* 6 x Fiends of Slaanesh (1 x Unholy Might)
* 6 x Seekers of Slaanesh (1 x Transfixing Gaze)
* 6 x Daemonettes

I'll second that. Big thanks to Eberyone involved in organising it all. And, despite being massacred in every game, I had great fun thanks to my great opponents and all the nice people we spoke to. I think I need a bit more practice and some fine tuning before next time though.

So when is the next one?

Congrats to everyone on a great day! For those of you that will be there on Sunday - Da Dark Angelz are looking for a game - any game - so long as it goes past turn 3! Will be bringing Battle Missions too...

Many thanks to Chimera_Calvin for sorting all this out. Also a big thanks to the guys who swapped opponents in the last round so that I got a 4th game in (also meant that I got to play Panic's grot army - very nicely modeled ).

I may well be there until closing on Sunday, as my wife is coming with me to Nottingham, then going on to Leeds and picking me up on the way back. I'm also going to bring some more stuff (probably up to 2,000 points worth) so if anyone fancies a bigger game, they can.

I also hope to do better than my 4 losses on Saturday

Cracking day, lads. Hats off to Chimera_Calvin for organising everything, it was much appreciated.

As for day two, I've got to absolutely dismantle Taloncab's Imperial Fist force in a 1000pt grudge match that's long in the making... After that, I was hoping to stir up a bit of doubles action. Nothing rigid particularly, just a couple of 2000pt (so 1000pt per player) games maybe? Give me a shout if you're interested.

I got it! No worries, good to meet and play you both yesterday!

Again, thank to Chimera_Calvin for organising this, it was a great day of gaming. It a shame he can't be here today for open gaming.

I'm up for any games today - planning on getting a few decent size (1500?) games in on some of the crazier tables....

Well, this will be my last post on this thread. I am starting a new thread in the 40k Battle Reports section giving a rundown of the tournament.

My final thanks have to go to all the guys who turned up and made it a really enjoyable day. It was great to meet you all in person and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves on the sunday.

Thanks also to the guys from GW who were friendly and helpful and whos hard work in setting up the venue before we arrived made for a much smoother running of the event.

I'll talk to all of you soon and hope to see you again in the future.

Thanks again, Simon

Big thanks to Simon for putting it on - had a wicked time, everyone was really sound, and I didn't even get totally spanked in EVERY match! Result!

Plus we found matty's army in the end... 'naive fool!'
