Thats one of the things i'm looking forward to, seeing if this rumour is true or not. Personally I think it will stand up.

Mate... you wish! Your scumbag, yellow Imperial Fists dogs will be running for cover when they see the Daemon Tantras flying in to ruin their day - again.

As for the other arrangements for Sunday, personally my favourite format is doubles. We don't have to set anything up rigidly or anything (like tourney format) but if people can grab an ally I'd love to get some doubles games going.

It is actually quite scary - he won the last little Dakka tournament in Canterbury with it by quite the margin.

Although I reckon my Daemons have a good chance against everything else, I already know I can't beat the Kan Wall - I just don't have enough models. I'll just have to hope I don't end up playing him....!

Gulp! That grot kan wall looks like a beast. I'll have to make maximum use of my deffrolla!

Let the cogs turn. But to be honest ArbitorIan - I hope I don't play him either!

I quite fancy a few 1750 pt or 1850 pt games on the Sunday, if anyone else does (don't really fancy a big apoc game this time).

I don't mind who I play - I've not played all that many games so I don't expect to do massively well anyway - plus playing against something as interesting as a grot army just makes loosing better

Being completely unfamiliar with whworld, where exactly are people meeting at 10.00 on saturday?

Check out our new, fully plastic tabletop wargame - Maelstrom's Edge, made by Dakka!

It's WHWorld - i think that describes pretty much everyone...

I suggest Bugmans as a meeting point - it's never too early...

I figured if I sat somewhere and put my Dark Angelz together (magnetised Trukks - only way to get three into my case!) someone would recognise it That and I'll be with the Malfian IVth Helps being ready for Game 1 too! I believe endtransmission and I will be there Friday afternoon too - hopefully getting some practice in!

The awesome thing I have that you need to worry about is Awesome Spider
I've made a minimal changes to the Grot Roster so we'll soon know if it was just luck that got the Grots to the top spot at Canterbury.

@mercer 3 BattleWagons!
Nice work Mate, feels good reaching a paint total before the dead line!
I still have my Kan arms to paint... Yesterday I managed to paint up 10 dead Kan markers (although I Hope I don't have to use that many!)

Panic...

Hi all, I'm going to be in Warhammer World from 9:30.

There is another event on the same day, so there'll be people registering for that. I'll have to try and make up a sign and keep out of the way - so look for a Billy-no-mates with a laptop when you get there

While you sleep, they'll be waiting...

Have you thought about the Axis of Evil pension scheme?

Looking at Mercers army im afraid for my painting skills (and playing skills frankly)

I played WH when i was 16, joined the marines shortly after, then didnt pick up a paintbrush again till i was 28 when i left!

Its my first painted army.. they are supposed to be Ultramarines but they look like Scousers in loud garish shell-suits.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Oh but i went to WH world a few years back when i was staying at centre parcs Nottingham (took a few hours out of the pool!) and it was indeed great. Bugmans bar is beaut.

I hope they got some proper ales in now though.. it was all fething... Fosters last i looked!

See you lads in there at ten... Im the handsome fether with the North East accent, oh and ill be with albatross (the ugly fether with the north east accent)

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Also helps that your armour is green and your skin is green, so people don't know what to shoot at!

Certainly does mate. I was hammering my Guard but pieces still haven't turn up so Orks it is. So I've rushed to paint the bases make my home made Big Mek look better and get the Wagons sorted.

Though, I'm play testing tonight and may take foot sloggers which means that list may change!

You give my painting skills too much credit, why do you think it's zoomed out for?

gak! Bases! Gonna need to do some last minute rebasing of Keepers to get them on 60mm bases. They're old Keepers, so they came on 40mm square bases, but currently they're on 40mm round.

The Fiends are staying on Cavalry bases, since that's what they came with, which makes it legal.

The Daemon Prince is a conversion from an Avatar, and at the time i built him, Daemon Princes came on 40mm round bases. But with the release of the new plastic Daemon Prince, do I have to rebase them on 60mm too?

Oh dear, last minute chopping ahead...

Oh dear, I actually had totally forgotten... Will some round bases with numbers on them do? Perhaps I can create something out of my bitsbox...
