OK, I will go with Dark Angels. Sorry to not be able to bring nids (I think I'd have been the only one), but this week is filling up already, and I really don't think I can be certain of finishing both Tervigon conversions by the weekend, let alone getting them painted. If I do, I'll play with them in the friendly games, and stick with DAs for the tourney anyway.

I can only hope that:
a) the event lives up to expectations *gnaws finger ends*
b) the secretion of bodily fluids does not happen on the day - because I don't fancy mopping the Warhammer World floor (Its a big floor )

Just a quick question about Sunday - what time are things starting, and what will be going on? It is not covered (as far as I can see) in the info pack

Far as I can tell, sunday is arrange your own.

There are no specific arrangements for sunday.

The 'formal' tournament will be completed on saturday, but sunday has been left so that people can make their own arrangements (probably on saturday night in the bar )

Damn, I'm not going to be in the bar on Saturday night, so I will have to pimp myself out for a game or two on Sunday at some point during the day

As per PM I sent a few days ago I'm going to have to take Orks due to bitz not arriving for my Guard army to make it full WYSIWYG. Orks are all ok to rock and roll though

Also, is there any kind of paint restrictions in WHW, such as 3 paint minimum? I'm thinking of bringing some of my other CSM stuff along with me on the Sunday in case anyone wants a larger game or anything, but most of it is just primed or has only a coupe of colours on it.

No, there's no requirement at WHW. As long as its a GW or FW model, they're fine with it.

@croggy - the boards at WHW are 6' x 4' and already have terrain on them. I'll be there early (their event liaison is letting me in before opening time) so I'll check the boards and make sure that there is enough terrain and its placed fairly.

When the boards are setup, the terrain will be left in place for the rest of the day and I'll try and make sure nobody plays on the same board more than once.

The four players who have been out of contact have still not got in touch so I'll assume they're not coming. I've reopened the list but its obviously short notice.

If we can't get replacements that means we won't have enough to buy a Battleforce for the winner. Do people want to stick with £2 each and I'll just get the winner some vouchers or are people happy to go up to £2.50 each?

I'll be bringing about 2500pts of Daemons in the box, for games on sunday. Personally, I'd quite like to play a couple of 1500pt/2000pt games against people I don't get to play on Saturday, rather than one big Apocalypse game.
