Awesome Work, A Company sized outpost. All it needs a barrack block, HQ Bunker and a supply dump and it'll look like a true firebase. With that in Mind a Mortar Troop inside would be well protected and able to keep firing over the Walls. It is very IG, and would make a brilliant Apocalypse Centre piece ( I am imagining thousands of points of Nid's charging whilst Marines fight through them to try and rescue an Isolated Comms Out post where a Cadian Company holds a Comms Relay)

Oh man, why did I have to buy minis. I should have preordered this stuff instead. Maybe in a couple weeks at the next big paycheck.

heres a thought, have you given idea to making this to be more steampunk to match something like WarmaHordes or other tabletops.

Well I'm sure we could knock up some different detail plates and parts in the future. We've got a load of cogs drawn up which we could use to make some variants. Consider on the end of an increasingly long list (the mirrored command squad bases have been sat in the workshop waiting to be photographed for a very long time)

They're on the site. If you go into corner pack theres a drop down menu to select inner or outer corner, the one shown being outer corner. Thinking about it it's a bit unclear, having them as a separate product makes more sense from a customer point of view, so we'll be updating it once we have a set painted up (we had an epic painting session at the weekend getting everyting ready for photos)

I was going to say a similar thing Silver. Why not use the community, or at least a select few to ease the workload, it would be one less thing to worry about. Of course you may find that producing the models from initial concept to final painted product is just too rewarding an experience to hand out.

I have to ask how easy the terrain was to paint, as it is made of MDF, I imagine you had to use different paints to get the desired effect. Correct??

I would imagine priming it will make it like pretty much any other surface to paint. That seems to be the case whenever I have painted wood.

They're painted with Vallejo model air (only due to gw paints being rubbish at being airbrushed!) They were sprayed black with a cheapy matt black aerosol from a car shop!

MDF takes paint really well, you won't get the paint chipping or flaking off.

It went from black, to dark grey, then light grey followed by a black wash with mig pigments, and select weathering with a ginger rust.

Perfect! I had thought that a good basecoat would go on well and the news that it will not chip or flake is excellent!
