And I'm interested in a Skitarii army with no Cult Mechanicus garbage in it.

At least you're able to do Thousand Sons without having to take the other stuff. You're not going to be forced to take Tzaangors unless you're trying to force a Brigade into a low points match.

So don't include Tzaangors or daemons then.

Well it seems that gw decided that the best way to solve aos kits lack of sell is to make them cross compatible with 40k.

There's only so much that can be done with sealed walking ghost armour with no personality. TS's have less personality that DKOK's and about as much as wraith guard... You can't really whinge about lack of diversity in models that haven't got anything in the fluff to suggest they are more colourful. TS's personality is in their sorcerers and they have quite a few options for them along with a primarch.

We could have Meele Rubrics, Rubric Dreadnoughts, Meele/Pseudo Magic Scarab Ocults, and daemon engines like DG got. But I suppose the poxwalkers/daemon engines of TS are the Tzaangors.

Thousand Sons

That is sad beyond belief. And im pretty sure well get primaris of every colours for the next few months (years)

There's definitely still more design space: Melee and heavy support gunner rubrics, a rubric dreadnought... The line isn't really fully explored with just troop and terminator variants.

Severly disappointed with the TS. They confirmed on facebook, that there will be no new models for TS. They coud at least have done one new character kit. they lack support characters. This is the most boring and one dimensional army ever.

Not interested in more tzaangors. Wanted to play an elite army not a mass army.

I'll admit that these new Custodes do get me interested, though I'm not sure I could look at a sea of gold without puking (please tell me they can be in different colours?)

But I can't help but be a little bored of yet more marines. I want to see some awesome aliens, but there has been a lot of marines lately and I'm getting a little numbed to big power armoured dudes, and I'm primarily a marine player. I feel like the imperium is a little over saturated at this point and it's making me want to change to something totally different haha. Too much of a good thing can spoil it

Meh. I guess not every new release is going to be as rad as the DG. Fortunately I have more than enough to do with that.

Well no but I expect playing TS as TS will leave you so gimped that you would struggle to get past turn 3 let alone win a a game.

As for the no personality argument they just did a 6 month release of random blob with legs for DG with no issue. Like DG they could have looked at 30k units to bring out such as the snipers or the psychic dread. He'll they could have just done a chaos sorcerer in terminator armour or the blade masters for some assault ability as per the fluff they should have survived the screwed up spell.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

Canonically they can come in gold (current and great crusade era) or black (after the Emperor was interred into the golden throne), iirc.
In If the Emperor Had a Text to Speech device you have a silver custodian, but that was due to an Act of Tzeentch.
Really though, as with everything in the hobby you can do what you want.

Geez we need some pepper to go with all this salt. TSons get an amazing release last year and ya'll acting like you got a single finecast model with it's arms missing.

Xenos players too, you keep being surprised that GW favors it's best selling factions.

You want your voices heard? Throw a well-worded (see: Not a temper tantrum) post on their Facebook page. Give them feedback.

Or, stay here and complain. It's your right.

The black armour and silver trims is quite nice, especially if they had red cloth and hair...

And those hover bikes and Terminators look beautiful...

Not really. If the Custodes release attracts 2 people but makes 1 leave, then to the bean counters that's a net gain. So they will encourage corporate to keep doing it.
I mean, they might notice, but they won't care if the outcome is overall positive.

How Sad.

And now everything T-Sons related is at the back of the que. It will likely be 5-6 years before a T-Sons range gets proper treatment.

I suppose the fluffy upside to all this is that i now hate spoiled old Nurgle and his crummy Deathguard.

I actually like the idea of Chaos Monsters, Tzaangors on foot and on Discs alongside standard Thousand Sons and their Sorcerers. The last thing Thousand Sons need are Assault and Devastator variants to make them yet another force of Spiky-flavored Space Marines.
