Puke. This army isn't the necron army any more.

Um....uh.....wha?

I think, while I never played Necrons something just died inside of me at the sight of these. I like the mild Egyptian theme to Necrons, but now its just Tomb Kings in Sphess. These just look terrible, the head design is horrid and just seems like Necron Usthubi.

Yeah, the pariahs were a hell lot better than these. I mean, what the is on their heads? Are they trying to pass as chickens or something?

I was just going to bring the loincloth up. That's just utterly ridiculous IMO. What's it covering? A mangina?

What's it covering on Skeleton Warriors?

Why do the Grave Guard wear robes and tabards under their armor?

It's likely ceremonial, not modesty related reasons.

No, there would be too many weapon options in one box. I am going with 2 separate plastic boxes.

Also, seems silly ito remake a unit in finecast when they could have just kept the old vesions. Makes no sense.

Really? Eldar Striking Scorpions, Chaos Daemons, Ork Tankbustas, Tau Sniper Drones. . .

Those models aren't new sculpts. They are just the old metal scuplts in resin. These immortals are new scuplts. Which was my point. No sense scuplting new immortals that look generallt the same -- then make them finecast. seems more likely they are a box of 5 that make deathmarks or immortals.

Once again, I'm happy to be wrong.

I simply said they "look" like Failcast. Apparently that causes a huge eruption. If there was nothing wrong with Failcast, then why would there be such a reaction?

Cause you are wrong and the internet won't stand for it

No a Nangina

Get it....cause instead of a M its a N like....know what this is going no where.

But any ways, I don't see any real use for it on the Model.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

If that's the case, it couldn't be less original. I'm sorry, when I think of robots, the last thing that comes to mind is a loincloth.

Did you really just say "Necrons were never alive"?

You are aware that the Necrontyr were biological organisms that shed their organic bodies to become what they are now, right?

And that's the problem.

Necrons have always been thought of as "robots".

They're not. They're a construct housing a sentient being.

The level of sentience within these constructs ranges from "mindless drone following orders" to "fully sentient and independently thinking lord".

Well, I already planned out my first purchase.

A lord, 2 box of immortals, A barge and some lychguard. Deathmarks if cash permits.

And, of course, the codex.

Are you being this obtuse on purpose? Or is this just your way of trying to defend GW?

Their robotic bodies where alive and so had to wear clothes? Really?

thank you sir, for actually knowing fluff here! much appreciated.

I also dont see it as a cloth. It looks far too thick for that. seems more like protective/ornamental plating for whatever reasons the necron decide to adorn their armor ...

Yeah.. many remember their past lives and try to live like they did. Some even have a mental problem that brands them as an outsider because they feel they must rip off the flesh of the living and wear it..
