Warmill, I was a little dubious with some of your earlier efforts, but the latest base images absolutely kick ass! You guys have come a long way in a very short time, and I think you'll sell a ton of those, maybe even to me, and I don't even play war-games lol!

Is it just me, or are there replies on this thread that are not showing up?

Edit: Ah, it just needed a kick up the bottom to show the next page

Thanks for all the comments guys and to everyone who's still following the thread even though there's not been much to see for a while! We've been chained to our computers sorting packaging, boxes, laser files, instructions...

Once we've shipped everything next week we might be able to start making something new again!

Cheers all

Hey guys I got the outpost kit through today and simply wow, I'm actually blown away by the quality of the product. I was able to put a few pieces together before work and I have to say it is one of the best terrain construction kits I've used to date. As for the jewel bases I was a little unimpressed until I removed the backing protection and then.. Beautiful. The pack you sent will remain as they are, I'll be using them as objective markers for games when I finally get my butt in gear and plan a few.

Thanks again for swift dispatch on this box of utter awesomeness.

You beat me to it lenny! Can't wait for mine to arrive.

I hope you can get your drill problem fixed quickly, not that I mind waiting a little longer for it all to arrive, it will be worth it in the end!

Congrats on your recent success, it is always nice to see a new business emerge and do well in the world. I try to support them whenever I can (hence me spending 100 squid at your store ) Hi-five warmill!!

Thanks for the understanding, me, Ed and my girlfriend were frantically painting the workshop last night ready for our personal laser to arrive so we can avoid these problems in future. That was in between pouring sets of custom resin bases for a tournament in October (600 of them!)

One way or another your set will be in the post on Saturday. I may be staying up late Friday manning the laser but it will happen!

I looked through several pages of this and all I have to say is wow. I'd seriously consider hiring you to make these bases for my armies... Seriously. Send me a PM if you're at all interested in doing so. I'm impressed.

Hey all

We've been a bit quiet due to busting our guts getting orders out (all pre-orders have now shipped woo!) but we're getting to the point where we may actually be able to start designing stuff again!

I'm going to be working on upgrade kits for the battlesnap fortress, Ed meanwhile has been working on the first in our Infinity range of terrain, getting some ideas out so we can start to fix down an aesthetic. He's currently made some random street furniture-style bits and some concept fences to start developing the direction we want to go in. We've got some big plans for the future, now we just need time to do them!

C+Cs welcome as always
Harry

I like the fences, but am not a fan of the big random blocks.

I've not really read all that much about Infinity, but perhaps look at some of the architecture from the "clean" sections of Brink?

Hell, some of the broken sections could work for wartorn/underhive type areas (I especially love this piece which is just a simple girder ruin).

Managed to squeeze out a quick first prototype for the wall upgrade pack to turn a standard barricade into a MK2 planetary fortress. So the idea is after you've set up a series of outposts and got your front line established the grunts can easily raise the walls up for added defense without taking apart the intial wall. Unfortunately I left a few holes off it and it doesn't go together quite right but the basic construction works

Stop making awesome things!! Now i have to get the wall kit when it's ready to upgrade the barricades when they get here
Love the 'speedy 300 pattern lascannon' btw

I'm liking the honeycombing on the walls, although it doesn't neccesarily fit in 40k it would fit most futuristic settings.
Keep up the great work and i can't wait for my barricades to arrive

Your packages are at the tender mercies of the post office, it' s pretty nerve wracking for us as we've sent quite a few to Aus and the US but have never done that before! We're terrified of getting a sudden rash of emails from people asking where their stuff is :s

Anything that is MK2 is obviously better

I don't know if it would make sense for each upright support to have recesses cut into it (recesses rather than holes) to act as a ladder to get to the upper level? Though that would mean the upright would need to be a little longer so troops could just step out onto the platform.

The Mk2 looks awesome but I would like to see a larger fireing slot on the ground floor, this is my only C+C...

Love those fences.
