Hello again folks,

Just thought I'd share with you all one of my latest works, A city, whose Population has fallen to Slaanesh. The customer and I spent quite a while discussing things to build a picture of what they wanted, and this is what I came up with, Its standard 6 X 4 table with each tile being 12" X 12".

I really enjoyed making it, and I hope you enjoy seeing it.

Some Close-ups....

I personally had tremendous fun making the table, it was one of my most exciting projects yet!

Thanks for looking.

-Chris

Ok, that's pretty fething amazing. How large is the lettering on that graffiti? It really looks like a photo of full sized.graffiti rather than something tiny shown at larger than 100% of actual size.

Wow its certainly an awesome city, I love all the posters and graffiti and all that, its just that if you hadn't said it was a slaanesh specific board I would have just thought it was a hive city with some chaosy graffiti. not to discredit this at all as I really love it, its just the title made me imagine sacrificial pits, dark alters and whatnot. Anyway I think your client will be very happy with what you have produced here and im glad you had fun making it.

The amount of detail you put into this table is simply amazing. How long did it take to build?

I'll be honest, I am disappointed. I was expecting Hookers, blow, and lots of neon colors. I want 2 minutes of my life back!

Pretty darn good table in my opinion.

That looks incredible, but yeah I was kind of expecting every building to have a big strip club banner plastered over the previous sign too.

Amazing table though, I'd love to play a game on it!

I was expecting this to be NSFW

It's a great board but I feel it's a bit tame for a Slaanesh themed board.

I really like the way you've made those tiles, it's obvious that you can rearrange them to make a lot of interesting and different boards! I may have to make some like that once I have some table space.

Couldn't tell it was Slaanesh until I saw the graffiti. Could probably do with a bit of warping.

It is a great looking board and I'll agree with other when I say I was expecting something very different. It has an awesome red light district feel to it, but not what I think of when I think slannesh.

But awesome board detail all the same. Very cool.

Looks gobsmackingly great! Love the detail and layout though I'll have to agree with the majority in the fact that I was expecting something much more..."erotic" and perverse like dildo buildings rising out of boob-shaped buildings

Looks very cool, but I do have to admit I expected more....obelisks.... in the city, lol.

Very nice urban terrain!

Excellent work! I would love to be able to create a board as enticing as this, really makes you want to play a game.

Thanks for all the comments and replies everyone. I don't actually play 40K so don't really know much about the lore etc.

My client called it a slaanesh table and this is what he asked for, I can see now he is maybe a bit off on his details.

Thanks again,

-Chris

That is some great work! I love the buildings, the graffiti, and the posters.

Not as crazy about the amount of rubble. While it makes it look more realistic, and certainly adds to the ambiance, every area of large chunks of rubble which are too uneven for a model to stand on becomes an area of the board which is wasted for gameplay purposes.

Still, relatively few of those. I wish we had this board down at our local. Does it come apart for easy transport?

The fine details really make this table shine! Love the posters and graffiti. Gives it an early cult days type of look. Well done!

One of the best tables I've seen. Extremely realistic, seems like it would be awesome for moderns or near future though, not so much fantasy/40k. I'd use it for force on force or tomorrows war happily

What are the square tiles made out of?

I love the table man. How much something like this cost? I like the look of it, would be a badass place to have like a post apocalyptic rpg, with like zombies/ghouls and stuff on. DayZ but tabletop!
