Just a quick update, not much to see other than some primed models. i am just working on the last 14 warriors and then the paint begins, so I should have color started by 6 pm at the latest.

I'm still very confident i can get them to the level i want by sunday. No problem!

Thanks,

MegaDave

So another update, and no new pics of my stuff yet again. Sigh. Well, on the bright side, I am ALL done with assembly, so any picture of my stuff from now on can only include painted stuff.

Tim has been making more progress, I really think his tanks are turning out nicely.

Hyde got his winged hive tyrant from forge world put together, it looks like it wants to eat me!

Why oh why are things not going faster? Must find resolve and power through. Only 30 more hours till finish time. I will not fail!

Stve is still hard at work, pluggin away until he falls asleep again, lol!

Just a quick update so you can see some pretty pictures of something that I did.

These are all of my destroyer and heavy destroyer bases, but this theme will be repeated for every model in the army.

A close up of the monolith's base.

I'm surprised, no quality drop? Impressive. I woulda figured the obscene amounts of caffeine coursing through the system would have you trembling like a schizophrenic madman. Either that or the sleepiness would cause errant brushstrokes galore.

I was working on finished up the entire squad, but I thought i'd go ahead and focus on just one so I can give y'all a better idea of what I'm actually doing.

Eventually I'll go back and highlight the purple, paint the eyes, and stuff like that but for the purposes of this challenge it just needs to look like it currently does.

Overall I'm still pretty happy with the scheme even if if doesn't have all the highlights and detail work yet.

Hyde has been busy working on a trygon and some genestealers.

Tim has completed a valkyrie and a hellhound.

Steve is still toiling away, and he say he should have everything assembled and primed tonight.

Parker has been busy with his blood angels san. guard.

Since when does the monolith need a base?

That aside, the bases look awesome, and the color scheme on the necrons looks...pimpin'.

This is an impressive project, and...
Hell, I should just say it.

I could never do anything like this. If my buddies and I got together to do it, I'm sure every 15 minutes we'd have to go out for a smoke break, be too drunk to paint properly, or end up playing CoD:4 instead. I still have 1000 points of Orks to paint, and I've had them for over a year!

Good luck to you, may your wishes come true.

I actually have a full body tattoo, but it's of an invisibility cloak, so you can't see it.

4:30 am here in Ohio. So all 10 of the swarms have been completed, and let me tell you, they are annoying. But they look cool and that is all that matters.

I also finished up two more necron heavy destroyers, so I have a whole two units done now. Hopefully the warriors go a little quicker.

Hyde has most recently been putting together gargoyles.
