First four Blood Witches are all painted up, just need their bases done. I'll use the same three skin tones of pastel pink, purple and blue as well as the brighter red and purple hair colors, but the next batch of four will get a blue wash over that instead of the purple I used here. The final group of three, which will include the Blood Hag and possibly the Unit Leader as well will get a crimson wash.

I've dreaded painting these for a long while because they've got a lot more fine detail than the Banes. Turns out they're not that bad as a lot of that is not stuff I need to pick out on a multitude of different colors. Did use two shades of blue on each like with the Bloodgorgers to cloth from leather straps. Did get a better idea on what bits are supposed to be what painting these and will use that to do a better job getting all the colors in the more correct places this time. These missed the gold on the bottom rim of their boob armor.

Second batch of four Blood Witches painted up, minus their base arcs. These got a purple wash on the robes and a crimson wash on the skin.

Crazy super productive last night and got the last two of the Blood Witches plus the Blood Hag Unit Attachment painted up in a single night. These got the crimson wash on the clothing and the blue wash on the skin and hair. Once again, not gotten their arcs painted yet though. Will probably do all the arcs and basing at once after I get to the two Pistol Wraiths I've pledged for this month painted up as well.

So...When you gonna start on your Trollbloods/Khador/Cygnar?...

Sold my Khador, but I do have a decent sized Retribution army and a starter Circle force.

Ok cool, I have to say though your work is quite splendid. It is awesomesauce. I have read this and the original thread and I swear I had multiple nerdgasms reading this, it is simply awesome XD

Pistol Wraiths Caine and Jarl, plus the mercenary Saxon Orikk have joined my collection of painted stuff. Despite Caine and Jarl being formerly from other factions before their heads were replaced with skulls they were painted up in my full Cryx colors. Saxon on the other hand as a non-faction option was painted up in a different scheme. I like Saxon's colors, but the brown wash on the cloak didnt pool well. Think I may forgo the rest of my Devlin Mud pot and use the new Agrath Earthshade as I think the newer citadel washes have an overall better flow.

Good work. I like that middle one.
Where did the skulls come from?

Caine's skull is from the Vampire Counts Ghoul kit, Jarl's is from an old Dogs of War unit that consisted of undead skeletons of the various Warhammer Fantasy races, of which his is obviously from the Ork.

Got my Skarlock and Wraith Engine all rebuilt up. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of them before I started painting them so I can't use them for this months Play it Painted. Skarlock will be finished later tonight and the Engine in the next couple of day and I'll have finished pictures of them. For now though here is what I Will be pledging for this month, my Satyrchick Raiders and their Captain. These should Also be done in the next couple of days. Really wanting to have them done before Warmachine Weekend this weekend.

Getting back into this and wanting to get some of the stuff I've had sitting around for too long built and painted. First up are some McThralls. Original plan is just to Necronize a couple of them to use as Unit Leaders, and leave most as stock, although I really like the way these two look compared to the normal models... They're not done yet, need some putty work to gap fill and clean up. Will have to think on it, it would be a lot of extra work and cost to Necronize em all, but it'd certainly make a statement.

Pretty thoroughly biffed my Play it Painted score this month. I only got a single of my pledged models painted,Aiakos, and then when I played my game with him I forgot to take the pictures of him in action. At least he qualifies for the non-Warcaster Character Solo bonus points.

Working on making a new Spyder Jack. Bout all that's left is to better smooth off the filling in the back legs, and the arms are going to get magnetized to make it an omni-jack. May see about getting a set of tiny little mandables for the head to add to the bug look.

Hell, if I was an TO, I'd let you play it just for the rule of cool (plus the weapons conversions match up what they are and have a good part of the original model).
