"Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, so long as people are killing and dying in his name!" is the full statement.
This implies that Khorne doesn't care if his followers kill or if his followers die, so long as those who claim to worship him are out there spreading violence and bloodshed. It does not, specifically, state that anyone anywhere who is committing violence and bloodshed is feeding him.
It just implies it to me.

Mainly because my interpretation of bloodshed is as a metaphor for general killing therefore Exterminatus is quite a big amount of bloodshed. Depends if they use a virus bomb. Could use good ol'fashioned FIRE

By that logic, eating is Khorne worship. Hell, LIVING is Khorne worship given how much your body kills with its immune system. That interpretation falls apart.

Eating usually isn't killing. It depends on whether or not you take it to a ridiculous extent.

Ummm...what?
You kill plants and animals to eat them. By your logic of "general killing = Khorne", that IS Khorne worship.

Unless the stuff you're eating is entirely lab-created synthetic nutrients, something dies to feed you. Sometimes, in the case of corpse-starch rations, literally.

Eating itself doesn't involve murder unless you rip someones throat out and eat that it's getting the food where you kill.

Then what is done to animals made into food? You are on real shaky ground here because animals and plants are killed to feed you. Just because you are distant from it doesn't make it less killing.

Well, it is obvious for most food, but for fruits, it is way less obvious. Especially when you factor in that some seeds actually need to be digested to be able to flourish.
Salt is the true ingredient that we can eat without killing anything, not even cells.

Many lines in 40K get re-worded or re-phrased, depending on whatever they are currently being published in. IIRC, the line I quoted is from the Realms of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness book, circa 1991.

It's not a game, per se, the "Realms of Chaos" books were the early entries on including armies of Chaos in Warhammer Fantasy and 40K. At the time, it included more lore and fluff than actual rules.
There's two books in the series. The first, Slaves to Darkness, covered Khorne and Slaanesh, the second, The Lost and the Damned, covered Tzeentch and Nurgle.
Both books contained some of the best Chaos artwork the franchise has ever released.

I'm sure he does, but not because of the blood in this case (the bleeding is an involuntary action and Chaos Gods tend to get more out of sentient free-will actions far as I know. That's why they don't care much for their beastmen in WH Fantasy)
....anyways, he probably gains power from it because he gains power from emotions of hate and rage, which menstruation has a lot of.

Actually, it wasn't. Depending on the source, it was either by the direct word of the Emperor, Himself, or through Malcador the Sigillite (who spoke with the Emperor's authority) that the Inquisition was founded, or so we are presented with in the HH collection "Visions of Death". At either way, the High Lords of Terra did not and do not grant the Inquisition its authority, because even High Lords of Terra are subject to an Inquisitor's scrutiny. The other option is the somewhat-apocryphal story of four people meeting in secret in the Imperial Palace shortly after the Emperor's internment in the Golden Throne, which sets up the Puritan vs Radical split within the Inquisition, but this tale seems intended to establish that theme, rather than establish the Inquisition as a whole.
The Ecclesiarchy itself had absolutely no hand in creating the Inquisition, and is, itself, a frequent target of the Inquisition's work.

There was an entire branch of the Inquisition specifically ordained to hunt out corruption within the Ecclesiarchy - the Ordo Hereticus.
pm731 - here's a hypothetical situation. You realise that a man has to die. You decide to hire a contract killer, who terminates that man. Who is responsible for that man's death? If you had not hired the contract killer, he would not have died. The literal blood is on your contractor's hands, but where does the figurative blood lie?

Well the wolves are pretty awesome, out of all the SM's the Wolves and the Scars are the best.
And yes i'm going to say that the sister and church of emp are worse. Their part of an organization that's eating the Imperium from the inside out better than any chaos or genestealer cult. In flesh and Iron they take the land from the local people(the sisters and church of the emperor people) causing the people to side with chaos, and eventually causing the Imperial Guard to side with Chaos. The Imperial Guard Lt then becomes Chaos warlord found the Ironclads and nearly gets his hands on a super weapon that he could have used to destroy Terra. If you want to talk about endangering others the Ecclisiarchy and Sisters nearly got the Emperor killed. Also they worship a guy who would hate them if he was still alive.

The same guy who turned nearly half his children against himself, the same guy who would have killed that transport and even more people to prevent chaos spread, and most likely the same guy who would have killed Space Wolves as soon as he heard that they ignored orders from an organization he set up when the Space Wolves stopped obeying his imperium.
It's like they have this idealistic view of the Emperor, when he was kinda a dick and likely would've been pissed that they would have let chaos spread.
Ironically those who most likely portray the Emperor's rule best is usually Inquisitors laws and dealings.

That's a very one-sided view of what the Ecclesiarchy does. In actuality, the Ecclesiatchy is a massively unifying force in the Imperium. They maintain the loyalty of the citizenry, they give Imperials a cause greater than themselves to believe in, they supress knowledge of Chaos, they go around bringing new human worlds into the fold. Flesh and Iron was just one case of a bad Cardinal. By that logic, I could claim that those Wolves that turned to the Corsairs are somehow representative of the whole Space Wolf Chapter. Edit: Oh, by nearly getting the Emperor killed, you're referring to that superweapon. Well, that's not actually the Ecclesiarchy's fault, but the fault of Chaos for obtaining a super weapon. And again, that one issue hardly represents the whole Ecclesiarchy.

I think Ironclad means that by "taking the land" from the locals (whatever that means, did they build a church on it or something?) and somehow forcing (ha ha, it's a choice, you can't force someone into turning to Chaos) them to turn to Chaos and start the whole artifact plot, their actions indirectly led to a threat for the Marines to solve.
Well, we have to keep them busy somehow, I guess, or they might start to think about rebelling.

I'm really not sure. From what I recall, they were just killing off the adult tribespeople (at least some of whom had come to the Imperials seeking shelter and were being co-operative), presumably in some effort to exert control over the world. As opposed to, you know, just doing the usual stuff with missionaries and the steady uplifting of the people. Honestly, the Cardinal in the book was like a bit like a cartoon villain.

Sigh. So, basically, throwing out the established fluff to turn the Sisters into whatever the author wanted them to be because hey, who cares about the Sisters fluff anyway?

I'd say that the Ecclesiarchy was more misrepresented than the Sisters in this particular book. The Sisters pretty much just serve as elite minions for the Cardinal. Though I do recall some Sisters getting fairly easy beaten by some traitor guard, who the Sisters should have easily outclassed.
