I'm hoping they release this with (or at roughly the same time as) Telltale's GotG story, so I have double the fun next year

Nice

Seems a bit odd Mantis not being green but I'm sure we'll cope.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

That trailer was great.

I'm really looking forward to this. GotG was one of my favorite Marvel films by far.

Nowadays? They've been doing that for awhile. Matrix did it.

It's one of the few things CG does "well", using your example:

It really is looking superb.

First saw GotG at a press screening (I got jammy and won a pair of tickets off the Facebooks). Honestly wasn't expecting much, and it seriously blew me away.

Who knew the man-mountain Dave Bautista had such good comic timing?

Who knew that the best movies out of the bunch would be by far the Cap 2 & 3 and GotG. This is shaping up to be better than the first one. I'm excited.

Who'd have thought they'd be this many movies in (14, possibly 15? I've lost count!) and still not have a genuine stinker on their hands (internal consistency does need some work though!)

Don't let Snyder's white knights on here see you say that!! We'll start seeing posts about how all of them are inferior to BvS or MoS.

On topic, GotG2 is shaping up to be even better than the first! Which was one of the best Marvel movies yet!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Snyder's Knights are welcome to have an indepth chat with me, provided they understand it'd only be discussing each others viewpoints, and ultimately we're incredibly unlikely to 'convert' one another....

Define stinker? I found the Cap movies nearly unwatchable (the first was).

Not like Lego Batman which laughs at your Iron Man (literally).

First Avenger is one of my favourites! (no, seriously!)

By Stinker, I mean one universally panned by critics, and with very few supporters in the wider fandom.

Sure, some have dropped the quality (Thor, The Dark World) but ultimately they're all at the very least perfectly serviceable movies.

Lego Batman - haven't seen it, but will at some point. Though I've heard mixed things - mostly good, but others saying it's not a patch on The Lego Movie.

Lego is above 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Lego Batman was pretty brilliant, but The Lego Movie was better. Lego Batman started to lose momentum near the end, which is a shame because it would easily have been the best Batman movie ever made.

Yeah, that one was a stinker. Fortunately, it has been ignored and possibly even excised from the continuity like Marvel's own little New Jedi Order.

IMO, Marvel Disney really missed the boat by not having Kurt tell Peter "I am your father... join me."

Missed it by *that* much.

Seeing how PQ would have been the right age to see that in theaters, and Disney owns both...would have been a perfect opportunity for him to quote Luke too, then make a snide remark about his dad missing that moviegoing experience with him.

Weakest, yes.

But still a completely serviceable movie, and it's ending (not the one edited for teevee) I consider more satisfying than Iron Man's.

Ang Lee Hulk? Epic. An actual morality tale with ground breaking style.

You know who would kick the crap out of the Avengers and Loki and the X Men?

Ang Lee's Hulk. He's literally nature going critical mass. He's the Krell reactor building whatever power is needed to overcome its obstacle.
