Saints are born, not made. Even before she found the Armour of Saint Katherine and the Ardent Blade, Sister Celestine was exceptional. Not quite exceptional enough for her rebellious streak to never catch up with her, however.
Sister Celestine - Elites, Upgrade, 50 points
One Celestian squad in the army may upgrade its Superior to Sister Celestine.
WS 5 BS 5 S 3 T 3 W 2 I 6 A 3 Ld 10 Sv 3+/6++
Unit Type: Infantry, Character
Wargear: Hand Flamer, Power Sword, Power Armour, Frag and Krak grenades
Special Rules: Acts of Faith, Shield of Faith, Divine Resilience
Divine Resilience: This Act of Faith can be used at the start of the Assault phase. Until the start of the player's next turn, any time Sister Celestine would be removed, instead roll a die. On a 2+, she clings to life and may continue fighting with one wound remaining. One use only.
Celestine Repentant - Elites, Upgrade, 50 points
One Repentia squad in the army may upgrade a Repentia to Celestine Repentant.
WS 6 BS 6 S 3 T 3 W 2 I 5 A 3 Ld 10 Sv -/6++
Unit type: Infantry
Wargear: Eviscerator
Special Rules: Acts of Faith, Shield of Faith, Rage, Fleet, Fearless, Divine Intercession
Divine Intercession: This Act of Faith can be used any time a friendly character in the same combat as Celestine is in a challenge, before blows are struck. Celestine immediately takes that character's place in the challenge, and may make her full attacks even if she is slain.

Hmm... SoB Historical-era battles? Like a 30K equivalent for the Sisterhood? The Age of Apostasy, the Rule of Vandire, all that kind of stuff....
... that might actually be badass.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

Ehe, well, yes, it would be, but what about my proto-Celestines for now?

Cool. Now I kinda want a Novice Celestine....
Four questions:
1) Why different WS, BS, and I between the two versions? And why's the Repentia version less skilled? I vaguely recall that Repentia was the last rank she served in before dying (the first time) and coming back as a Living Saint, but the sequence I'm not sure on.
2) Shouldn't the Repentia version also have Fleet and Fearless? And a Ld score?
3) The two different Acts of Faith are interesting, but I'm not sure about the intervening-in-challenges one -- is there lore about her doing that?
4) Probably need a rule saying you can't take both versions in the same army....

Oops, should be the other way around. Repentia is supposed to have the higher stat line.
Fleet and Fearless, yep.
There isn't, no, but I wanted something other than just "she has the WD version of Spirit of the Martyr", since that's awesome for a squad, but kind of lame for a heroine on its own, especially since before she became a Repentia, she was a Character and getting into challenges all on her own.

Personally, I think that the cost is a little on the high side. Having 2 of the sergeants is cheaper than the upgraded character. I'm thinking around 35-40-pts at most for the upgrade. Don't forget, you are already paying the cost for the sergeant, so the actual cost of the upgraded character is more like around 70-pts or so.

I'm liking these, but I'd change a few things.
First off why does she have Initiative 5 & 6? She should be I 4.
Only Space Marine HQ's have Initiative 5, and Celestine is still human.
Secondly I'd give Celestine Repentant Feel No Pain, 6++ isn't so great in a challenge.
I'd also change Sister Celestine's Act of Faith to differentiate her from Saint Celestine.

Nah, in the Sisters dex, the sergeant is free but can be upgraded to a Veteran Superior. She's 50 points above a regular Celestian or Repentia.

No, she's not. She's still a Living Saint, just nobody's realised it yet.

Celestine Repentant's still part of a Repentia squad - she can pick up FnP3+ fairly easily, and in any case, even if she dies she still blends her opponent because she still gets to attack on the turn she dies.
Sister Celestine's act is supposed to relate directly to her future as Saint Celestine. It's kind of the whole point.
