What do you guys mean by Tzeentch pricing scheme? If these duardin are reasonably priced I will almost certainly be buying an armada

I meant that the new Tzeentch prices seemed pretty good- the tzaangors on discs for £22.50 when I expected them to be £30, 20 Kairic Acolytes for £30 .- compared to 10 fyreslayers for £35, 10 Tzaangors for £25.
So I'm hoping the infantry kits are around that £22.50- £25 range rather than the £30-£35. I've no idea what the ships might be though..

Yeah, considering how long it's been since Orks literally had to have red paint to benefit I don't see GW bringing a rule like that back.

I mean it literally states the coloration (likely just meaning clan) will affect what special rules and abilities your models will benefit from on the table top. It even references a page number.

yeah. That's worrying (and idiotic) to say the least.

Edit: im fact, it says : ''may WELL determine the special rules''. So I guess it only means the the different sub-faction (which all have a specific paintjob) have some special rules associated to them, but you Don't need to match the color to get the benefit of the rule.

There was never anything stopping people in 40k from painting a bunch of space marines red and saying they're a sub-faction of Salamanders just to use the rules of something they preferred.

As long as you tell your opponent which clan they're supposed to be it should be fine to paint them however. I am actually in favor of the varying special rules just because it gives more options. Some armies are dreadfully boring and get run the same exact way because they don't have the choice to be different.

Sure there was - that would be WYSIWYG. If the army looks like Blud Angles, then it must play like Blud Angels. Otherwise, it's a non-WYSIWYG proxy army, and would not be tournament legal.

Considering I bought a giant Imperial fleet from ebay a month after my first game, that might be baaaad for me That was at a great price, though, I swear!

I'd really like a REAL skirmish game for my collection of random models, sculpts and kit bashes. I don't want AoS "everything goes" mixed armies with min unit sizes, but the chance to just use ten guys or so. Like Mordheim...but with riders, flyers, demons and beasts worse than ogres.

Yes, but I believe that given the context the intent is merely to reference the faction paint schemes rather than require them (like the analogous pages for Stormcast or Tzeentch). This is assuming that the only mention of such is the bit reference above; if certain schemes are required it will no doubt be mentioned elsewhere as well.

These are new flight stands.

I'd bet the bendy flight stands are still being produced and that particular model didn't get one.

I like these models a lot. Some parts are too over the top for me. Like the top hat king. Overall though, I like it a lot. Maybe too many guns and not enough melee weapons.

What's stupid about a steampunk dwarf with an exoskeleton, top hat, and mustache guns hanging from a balloon, with a chainsaw sword?

That model is simultaneously the best and worst thing I've ever seen, and I love it.

I think he'd look really good on foot. Right now he looks like he's just hanging there with no real control, and firing the cannon is likely to send him sailing backwards.

But as a big armoured suit guy running (shuffling?) around on foot, that could work well.

They have mountain holds, live in the cities and are apart of the Azyrheim ruling council known as the Grand Conclave.

No word on a grudge book, though.

Speaking of which, it'll be interesting to see what Grungni has been up to since he left Sigmar and if it'll herald the Dispossessed getting a upgrade when he returns.

I agree.

I find him to be the most cringe-worthy part of the release but I also think he's redeemable with a head swap, and possibly under-slinging the cannon under is arm somehow. Something like this:
