DerKoebs - Thanks! I'm sure I've said it somewhere in this log before but lots of money has gone into this.
Set 1 has been reexamined and the few flaws that were there were sanded down and it has been put aside for paint.
We also did some light sanding on any overly smooth areas which might have given us trouble when painting.

Why do I love Dakka? Because they've got everything from guests who have no idea what is going on, to first-time painters, to fluff-junkies, to people SCRATCH-BUILDING TITANS!
I've been floating through this thread for a while now, and I finally can't contain it anymore. The scale of this project literally blows my mind. Or it did until you actually started making bits. Then the detail and professional look of those bits blew my mind again. The work being done in this P&M both depresses me and inspires me in the same instant. Keep up the amazing/astounding/limitless-other-a-ing words work, and *high-five* for having the balls to do this.

Pied_Piper11 - Thanks!
-Cypher- Thanks!
jabbakahut - Thanks for the link! I'm watching a few on ebay and either this paycheck or the next I'm going to bite the bullet. Spending $70 on a blender and not being able to "enjoy" it the way its ment is probably going to make this the oddest tool I've ever purchased. And thanks for the pictures of the aftermath. Did you put them straight in there or did you trim the sprues first?
Smitty0305 - Thanks!
mindfield - That's ok. I didn't really put up a batrep as I wasn't feeling like it after finding out my opponent was a real WAAC type and had so many proxies I got lost before the first turn.
Here's some pics
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v314/Foda_Bett/40k/Games/Kenny%20F%204-20-11/?start=all
smurfmaster - You might want to go back a few pages and see the videos. Cool assault cannon BTW! I'm glad we could help!
TTG BUNKER - Thanks!
Baiyuan - Thanks! By all means please feel free to build a titan with different design choices. We'd love to see differing views on GW's dogmatic (no pun intended in this case) views on their space robots.
Well today in a flurry of work I managed to get a ton of painting done on my Grey Knights (see my other painting log) and got the last 3 sets of legs sanded!
Next up I've got to start experimenting with other ways to thin my last few bottles of Tamiya primer, and find some more, as it seems they're still having trouble getting the stuff into the country.

@Foda_Bett No problem. I actually used it to make a smoothie for the first time last week! Works good for that too. I do trim all the sprues into their longest lengths then cut them in half. It's easy to play around and see what will happen, this blender can handle whatever you want to put in it. You mix in a bit of rock and the results are perfect.

Thats too bad on the apoc game Foda, so many proxies would indeed defeat the purpose of having built the great effort on those awesome models of yours, only to arrive facing shoeboxes, so to speak Goodluck on your next apoc game then Foda. Your warhounds are still looking awesome as ever. Good job

jabbakahut - Thanks! This coming paycheck will be definately be going towards one of those blenders.
mindfield - Thanks! I told my opponent that when they're finished I'll call them warlords if I ever play him again.
joshoftheforest - Thanks! Next will be priming the head cover, and the drivers.
Ambull - Thanks!
medabee - The titans were on hold until I could find some more primer. I had to get it shipped from Hong Kong. 12 bottles of primer and 3 bottles of thinner + shipping cost me $150! When I start using the red paint I've chosen I really don't want to see that bill.
HAZZER - Thanks!
Since we got more primer in last night expect to see some work done this weekend!

Wow, I’ve just finished reading through the WHOLE thread yes the WHOLE thread,(I know I'm that sad! Lol!).
@ boba_fett- what resin did you use?
For a beginner what would you recommend for casting?(I'm fancying starting to use resin too!)
Are 2 part moulds better?
How do you do your moulds?
If you use a vacuum chamber how better are the results in casting wise?
Is It worth casting most or all of the parts?
Fancy sharing measurements?
Where did you get the forge world crew from?
Was it eBay?

4.Try page 6, where I walk through casting the legs.
5.The pressure removes bubbles, the vacuum allows the mold to get closer to the master and thus increase detail.
