If he's not the Doctor (which is seeming less and less likely) who is he?
An Imperial Citizen? Well, what would he have to gain from this bluff?
A Dark Kin? Same question, but this is one we can only guess at the vaugest of terms.

As I've said, I don't think EF has done anything very suspicious yet. The Shas'O thing was something he had no way of knowing would spin out of control, and to be fair, Shas was horribly irritating on that first day of his first game. The LL jump was useful, it helped to pin him down, but it may be considered last minute voting on a probable sure thing. But he could have easily swayed the vote to 3-3 LL/Vulkan with good arguments against Vulkan that were flying around, so I don't think it was necessarily a Dark Kin move. Overall he's been logical and useful and I don't consider him a threat from his actions up until now.

Having said that, I support Silver's stand on his gut instincts. I've gone with those and seen LL rightly killed, and much of my case against Avantgarde stems from similar gut-deep workings. They're not infallible, and they often cause as much harm as good, but in such uncertain surroundings you have to trust something, what better than your instincts?

@EF - We have to remember the presence of a renegade role which Drk_O mentioned when Drk_Rose appeared. Maybe this doctor reveal is a plain sight attempt by Arheiner to keep himself in sight but not too suspicious to be attacked.

Looking back, Arheiner was strong and fairly logical for a while, and then this 'slip' has led to him flailing around wildly with a little 'woe is me' commentary. I could almost feel he's a different person now than he was then.

Yes I pointed it out, but you could have brushed it aside with maybe a slightly raised eyebrow from us. Instead every post you have made since then seems weirdly defeatist, as if you've just finished crying into your cornflakes and are now in the mournfully accepting stage.

When reading back through I made the assumption you were the doctor, and it did kind of fit, but now that you've been 'discovered' you're not really acting pro-town, you're hamming it all up to retain attention on it without adding much else in the way of value to the discussion.

Seriously though, I think that some of those who aren't voting should get off their ass one way or another, just to get conversation going.

His insistance that Arheiner is odd is only trumped by Bishop's although my gut says Bishop is more innocent. That and the fact that there are 3 votes on him make it a safer vote.

So what's the game plan after I'm dead and gone?

With 4 votes and 12 hours to go, I'm pretty sure it's me.

I think I've remained at least slightly constructive, but I've had nothing to go off besides Arheiner's weirdness and my belief in avantgarde's suspiciousness.

The plan, assuming you die Avant, will depend how you flip. If you're evil there will be a party and we'll start to worry that with only one Dark Kin left he could truly hide in plain sight. If you're good then I will have to take a more back seat in this and offer myself up to critical investigation as the instigator of your fall. I hope I haven't targeted you incorrectly, as I will feel absolutely awful if I have.

We'll then see how the night phase fairs, if Arheiner lives or dies that will be telling, as will whoever else may die. However Arheiner flips I think EF will be under scrutiny, as I think Silver has some ideas that may or may not pan out. We'll also be looking for the Renegade role, though I'm not sure how to go about that exactly.

Altogether, if I'm still alive, I expect it to be an interesting Day.

And if I do die, then I believe SilverMk2 (nee Scarper) and not_u should be high on the priority list for investigation tomorrow.

Not that it really matters now, but my vote would have been for Arheiner. I just don't buy the "I slipped up so now I'm dead thing".

The one of you with the head instantly proclaims who everyone slept with.

An interesting note. Currently, the ratio is 3:2:1. There are 3 Eldar players, Two Dark Eldar players and a Renegade player. The next story post will reveal what the renegade role players character is.

So, the 'Doctor' wasn't lynched last night. (As I said) The question now is, is this becuase he was a Dark Kin? Or becuase the Dark Kin want to make it look like that?

I'm thinking more of the later and less of the former because of how it was discussed. Dark Kin are tricky

Well it seems to be mostly going back and forth between Bishop and EF.

I've mostly been quiet because I probably would have ended up seeming like I was just echoing points already rasied by either of those two.

OOC: Added with a large assignment, which I'm glad to have finished. However a smaller one remains (due monday) then I have about two weeks before I have to start working on another one >_>
After Monday I'll be able to focus on this a little more.

6 people, '4' of them roled, 1 'revealed'. Means only 2 actual eldar eldar. Meaning one other person I can trust. Bishop would be my least likely to trust now. What with him being the one pushing the money cart.... And still being alive. Then we have Vulkan, Arheiner and EF - all of whom are playing the blame game. Finally we have the silent not_u.

Vote: Bishop I think with the distraction of the renegade and 'doctor' roles, his bad leadership discissions have been ignored. I find that alarming.

Right now we're in trouble. I can only trust 2 people and the other 3 didn't kill me for some reason. Right now i'm going for the one that I reckon is the most suspicious, and I imagine will try and turn everyone on me:

So if you are an innocent there's a 40% chance (2/5*100) your vote will hit a Dark Kin, 20% chance you will hit the renegade (1/5*100), but also a 40% chance (2/5*100) you woud hit the other innocent. 60% chance (3/5*100) you would hit someone who is not a normal Eldar.

We have a better chance of hitting the Dark Kin so maybe we should focus on them. It hasn't even been revealed yet (to my knowledge) if the renegade is in fact an enemy to the innocents or not. They could even be the reason why the doctor is still alive, assuming he is in fact the doctor and not a Dark Kin with a bad disguise.

@Arheiner: I view your vote as purely reactionary, in a desperate bid to save yourself. It reflects badly on your decision making skills, but it does not prove to me your innocence one way or another just yet.

@the_ferrett: This is a very suspicious move you've just made. In my opinion, despite his (not necessarily bad) leadership leading the leadership leading to the lynching of an innocent, he has more than proved himself to me with his case against Lord Loss. He may have been bandwagoning, but he aided Rusty just when it was most needed. If he was a Dark Kin, this move would be extremely counter-productive, especially by offing their Archon.
(granted, Bishop could be the renegade, but that would be a serious mind-feth)

Hang on, leadership? ME?! No wonder this apple cart is going all to heck.

So looking at myself, besides one lucky guess on the part of hitting hard and repeatedly at LordLoss, I've been pretty much a failure at working out who is good and who is bad. So as I said in my previous post, due to the innocence of avantgarde I am going to back off on trusting my instincts. The further loss of Silver, another one high on my list of suspects, means I'm almost definitely firing innocent-seeking bullets right now.

So I know I'm innocent, there are 2 other Eldar civilians and 3 people we want to roast for killing so many of our friends. The likelihood of me choosing a Dark Kin or renegade is high, but I still feel like I am more likely to target a friend than an enemy, so today I will be guided as much by those around me as by myself.

I haven't seen ferrett as being overly guilty and I believe Arheiner to be the Doctor. However I felt that not_u might be a Dark Kin and I was wrong about everyone else... I've trusted EF this long and I don't think now is the time to start distrusting him. Vulkan is an unknown quantity. He's poorly presented and generally posts just enough to stay in the game.

So it seems I need to go back again, knowing what I know now, and see if
a) I can find something which makes Arheiner less likely to be the Doctor
b) I can pin down Vulkan a little more on possible leanings

So I don't see the point in a knee-jerk vote at this point, I need more data.

As you yourself have said, due to his lack of enthusiasim in posting, Vulkan is likely an Eldar Civilian as it is not the most interesting of roles. That said, his behaviour is similar to most other Survivor Games I've seen him in, so this evidence is not conclusive.

You on the other hand have posted a fair amount (as have I), you may possibly be the renegade, the doctor (I see you as a more likely candidate for this role than Arhiener) or just a very helpful civilian. I know you're not a Dark Kin, but I can't quite figure you out.

EF: Its called sacrificing the almost dead to keep the majority safe. One slight question though.... does the 'renegade' role have to be someone who doesn't already have a role? Could you have a renegade doctor? Or shock horror - a renegade Dark Kin?
