It's on top and pointing forward. Still, even if it were pleased as you describe, the burning fuel (napalm/kerosine) would just br caught up in the tail wash and dispersed enough to not have any effect at all.

There is no flamer in burnabommer. Even its' name suggest it uses bombs and not actual flamers. The "flamer" on top of the plane is a bigshoota/dakkagun.

Perhaps the Burna Bomma is similar to the Apoc Bomma with bombs that lands as flamer templates?

I think it's pretty obvious that the Storm Talon will be C: SM only, and none of their offshoots (well When DA get a codex it will probably be in there). Still, i'd like 100% confirmation so I can relax that I won't be buying any of these minis (well maybe a night/doom scythe for my necrons in a month or two).

I think the stormtalon is fine, just smooshed a little. It just barely manages to fit with the IoM "theme" of aircraft looking like they should barely be able to fly.

I like the Scythes.

Because it can fire one or the other or be shot out of the air with its likely all around armour 10.

May be lucky and get front 11, or really lucky and get sides at 11 as well.

The stormchibi is not too bad. Just extend the fuselage a bit and add some decent ducted fans and it would look totally awesome!

Maybe this will push Warmill into releasing those damn Valkyrie upgrades they've been tempting us with for years

I almost decided to get a Talon just to see if I could convert it into something halfway decent, but if it can't be used with Codex:BA or Codex

A that just leaves my White Scars, and I think it would look fairly terrible in white. Besides, they already have a Storm Eagle.

As he's using White Scars, he'd be better off using a Land Speeder Tempest - much more fitting for White Scars to be using that. It looks miles better, to boot.

I to thought "oh yeah I knew Id seen that before! when someone mentioned the HAVOC gunship from G-Police. I used to love that game!

The Storm Talon is horrifically proportioned, it could do with having two crew members and a longer body, but overall I quite like it, just needs the assault cannons moved to hard points under the wings.

Is there any information about pricing for these new flyers yet??

I suspect no, and we will find out how expensive they are after the price rise in a few days time.

Pricing was done ages ago. The pricing rumor is going for $45.50 and is subject to change with the price increase.

It's awkward looking and will likely have armour 10 all around; 11 if lucky. I speculate that it'll be more points than a Landspeeder and die just as easily. IMO it's armament is ill matched for it's speed of movement (assuming Fast, Skimmer). 6th edition rules may change its worth, but under 5th edition I don't see this being very usable.

I doubt the BA and GK would see it.

Likely SM and DA. Wolves maybe, not as likely. Even less so for BT as it doesn't seem to fit in with them. Though they could just go all SM except BA and GK to sell more kits.

Considering the Stormtalon, Nightdoomscythe, and Ork Bommer come out early next month and we'll see the preorders after the supposed price rise(I'm saying "supposed" right now because while I've seen a link to a price rise in Community & Events--it is not actually showing under Community & Events when I'm looking for it. It might be an old link, it might be a current link but I can't see anything saying "May 28, 2012" suggesting it), based upon precedent the preorders will already have been priced accordingly.

Storm Talon looks ridiculous. How does it even land without flipping backwards?

Ork jets are uninspired and lazy.

Necrons get the best deal.

That being said, the princes of these things given the recent price hike is going to make them unaffordable. And I don't play Orks/SM/Necrons....

Since the flyers come out after the price rise, the stores have already been given their price, and their not included in the price increase papers I doubt their changing from $45.50. In fact the Razorwing just went up to that price so expect it to stick.

The only flyer that went crazy is the Stormraven. And that's probably because it's a much, much heavier kit. Remember GW likes to price for in-game points/abilities. A Stormraven is twice the points of most of the noted flyers so it costs more.....

Either way I like all of them, Depending on the rules I might be picking some up
