Nothing wrong with it as such, It's just difficult to compose. It's hard enough to read let alone write it myself. (Have enough problems with English as it is...)

the way the hose lies is totally convincing... full marks there mister... that´s just regular cable wire isn´t it? nicely wrangled in shape!!!

the only thing that makes me wonder, will you do something about that spot where the heat gun damaged the tread pattern on that patch? a bit of rust added, your baking soda method would do nicely there...

@ Vik. Yes bit upset with myself for that one, especially as it's not for me, but it will be all good, possibly rust, or thinking probably a Badmoon insignia.

Still got work to do on these, but waiting on materials.

To answer the question, Gitsplitta has asked me to make him a Orky Skysjield. It needs to be the same dimensions as the proper imperial version, so trying my best. They are indeed magnets on top, so the legs can come off for transportation.

Any and all idea are welcome.

one suggestion... how about a big satellite dish for the main platform then? starting with a big piece of PC and heat it up with your gun in in a wok or other curved cooking attire...

that will look way better then a looted GW one with all that detail you already put in!!!

Update, sorry it's been a bit slow working silly at mo, however......

No.4...




Going to make lots of boxes and crates and barrels for areas like the balcony, which represents storage for ammo etc, obviously necessary. Kind of like the lift on the side. There will be corresponding hatches on the platform for all these access points.

And with a roughed out piece of foamboard which is the correct size.




And scale shot for you....


Now this is nowhere near finished, and the uprights are going to get some serious work before I am happy with them. The Landing pad, will not be foamboard, just using this piece as a template.

@ Vik, great minds and all that, was planning a comms tower of some kind as an addition, as well as various other little details.
