I live in the netherlands so i don't have to worry about beeing flooded. We would have expanded the delta works beforehand.

Dependsd on if I had warning. If I did, I'd go save up to buy (or steal) a suitably sized boat of some sort-- probably a cargo ship-- along with some solar cells and industrial batteries (to discharge whenever I didn't have enough sunlight). I'd use its surface area to provide power while its interior was dedicated to an interior farm for nutrients I couldn't get through fish. Then I'd try to live off of fish supplemented by the fruit I'd be growing. The main problem would be water purification, but I think there'd be enough space for a system to remove salt from the water at least...

no, I would live in an island. the hills here are so steep, that if you jump off of one, you fall 7000 feet.

75 meters??? The wildest estimates currently put sea level increases of 2 meters over the next 100 years. And, we're talking 6 meters or so in a very long term setting.

It really sucks for people currently living right along the coast, or on small islands. But, for the vast majority of the population, flooding won't be an issue.

Then, like most people, I would probably eventually die of dehydration, disease, pneumonia, starvation, malnutrition, or any combination of the previous.

But..I believe that Melissa is probably referring to those who avoided the whole shark/drowning related deaths...

That's the thing. My answer to all of those is "get on my boat and leave". Quite annoying.

Capitalize on the desalination industry. I knew my senior design project would be good for something eventually.

Maybe invent some water-breathing pills. They'll have to be suppositories, of course.

Otherwise, just generally be on a boat.
