I'm really glad this exists. Sometimes it's hit-or-miss when trying to do dynamic poses and THIS, my friend, is a HIT.

As he will be surpassed by the other occupant in the tank, and the tank itself (once they are completed), I'll post him up now.

Ork boy to tank driver:
Brainwashed, plugged in and doesn't get much sunlight (so not very green).

Repositioned a leg, chopped off the right arm below the elbow, repositioned the right arm and rotated the wrist.
Added the goggles, wires and cables and most of what surrounds him is either scratch-built (like his chair) or re-purposed (like the levers).

I'm not sure its my best, but its in the top 5.

sisters of battle penitent engine. Still a bunch more to add. I'm working on three. I have yet to work out the arms. I will be adding space marine centurion shoulder pads also.

As I mentioned further up the page, I'm more pleased with the conversion of the Gunner in my tank than the Driver. Now he's painted I'll show him off here.

Termagant to Tank Gunner:


Only one of his legs remains un-touched (the one that doesn't normally touch the ground).
The other leg was re-posed at the hip and knee.
The join between the upper body, legs and tail was completely rebuilt to get him standing up.
The smaller arms were bent at the joints to make them look more natural.
The neck and underside of the head were modified to allow the head to look down.
The tail was bent so he could fit in the tank.
The arms were taken from the Genestealer sprue and one was re-posed at the elbow to be touching the monitor.

I'm very happy with how the pose turned out in the end.

This is probably my best conversion model although I haven't done much converting at all:

This is what I've been working on this week, my Inquisitorial detachment.
Here's my count-as Jakero. I don't like the idea of space monkies so I made a mad hermit woman who's a savant with weaponry.


Here's my priestess. (She'll probably go with a SOB squad though.)


And here's the Inquisitor. A Xenos with needle pistol and talons.


And here's an older one, but possibly my favorite, a tech priestess for my SOB army.

I'm pretty proud of these guys - severe kitbashing from the Dark Eldar range, and a from scratch whip on the middle guy. Bases from scratch too. There are four more to come to complete the squad, but it's slow going!

Those are some pretty sick Wyches and awesome shade of orange.

My new Archmage for the High Elf army I just finished assembly for. I haven't started painting yet as the weather isn't right to prime...

Heres my first real conversion. Still in progress. Certain folk may see my inspiration in a certain old inquisitor model from back in the day.. Which I still have. Im pretty happy with how hes looking so far. I know a million other people have converted the nurgle lord, but as soon as I saw him I knew I wanted to give him the klaws. This is my first time using green stuff also, and he's a super forgiving model, as all the rottenskin means you dont have to be perfect with your modelling. The bottom picture is a kit bashed chaos cultist from the cheap as chips plastic box of 5 which I used to see how my paintint skills are after 15 years not doing it.

My Big Mek with KFF and burna (one of my first conversions finally painted - so no longer top compared to WIPs)
Really enjoyed adding a touch of hilarity to orks in general was gona give him a perma tan on his left hand side, but didnt want to ruin what id already done

Still not completely finished, need to do main weapon, base and engine thrusts, but I got lazy and now im back in a modelling phase, so that may be a while
