That absolutely rules. The tainted camo came out awesome, Gits. As did his hinged chainswords. Did you do anything fancy with the engines on the jump pack?

I will be doing OSL in the jets... I just forgot. But, it wouldn't really show up in any of these pics anyway.

Hello everybody. First post in a very long time.

Decided to offer up my abilities to anyone who's wanting to swap some marines, or just have one of their own things painted.

I'm proficient at painting the following:

Grey Knights
Minotaurs
Nurgle Chaos Marines (The Purge)
Homebrew IG (similar to DKOK)

I use an airbrush, so OSL and gradient power weapons are not a problem. If anyone's interested, please let me know. I'm trying to stretch myself and work on painting other chapters or other armies

Also hope to get a comprehensive blog up and running on here soon, so if you do want me to paint something for you, progress pics will probably go there, and finalized pics here.

Hey guys, I hope I'm not too late to the party!

Here's a DA I painted recently, I guess I'm pretty happy with the outcome since I just began painting miniatures and wargaming less than a month ago. I tried to do a little freehanded laurels on his helmet which actually turned out pretty well!

There's also an alternate color scheme of Red/black/gold that I tried out. Not terrible, he was my very first miniature. If anybody wants a swap, or one of my guys, let me know!

Both are heavily OOP/vintage

Personally I would like some a Possesed squad with a healthy mix of different chapters/companies, but other ideas are welcomed. So if anyone are interested please let me know, I`m up for the challenge

It certainly is Rotgut. The idea isn't that we're all trading minis of the same quality... it's that were all doing our best, whatever that happens to be.

My painting will start happening in a bout a week. Finals are coming up and I will get to it as soon as I can.

GitSplitta's marine is 95% done. I'm really happy with how this color scheme turned out, it's something i've always wanted to try. There's a few areas to touch up so he can look pretty on the battlefield, but other than that, he's ready for his journey to begin!

Party-colored is NOT an easy paint scheme. Very nicely done!


(For those you you who are feeling slighted because I still owe you your marine... Patmandude agreed to take a marine I'd already painted in trade. It's an apothecary I did several years ago that just doesn't fit in with any of the versions of my army. I just need to fix an arm and he's good to go.)

Here's the fig I'm dressing up for Patmandude. I'm still working on the arm and the OSL on the plasma will go easier if it's not attached. Think it'll be a pretty cool upgrade though. His eyes still need to be done, I just got done blacking them out.

The marine swap has been fun and Ive been itching to really get back into it.

So to Leon, Patmandude, and anyone else I am so game. I got regular and some terminators that I offer up with a fun assortment of weaponry.

@Graven I havent forgotten about your trade offer of random bits for random bits. I just have no real need for random bits as my army is in wind-down mode.

All-right... Patmandude's apothecary is done. Fun little diversion. As much as I like to rescue old figures, it's funny that I finally rescued one of my own.



I should have made the plasma a different color... it blends right in with the rest of the figure! But... I think I'm getting better at it. I usually make sure to play a game with my trades before I send them off so they can be truly classified as full Mantis Warriors. However... this guy is an old veteran of many conflicts. I figured taking a pic with him and some of his newest brethren would be good enough.
