I'm not a fan of that mini (weird pose) but I love the paint job. The blood makes me uncomfortable because combined with the torn clothing she looks like a victim of domestic violence.

I honestly get where you are coming from, it can hit a bit close to home.

I mentioned I was thinking of adding some green ooze to her knife just to add a bit more to the story the mini is attempting to tell, what do you think WM?

Hi Iffy, I wanted to know what the quality brush you mentioned using was, I've tried looking back but it's a big thread! The reason I ask is a friend of mine wants to improve his painting and one of my top tips was a better quality brush but I use the citadel masters set which isn't available any more. Hope you can help.

She uses the W&N series 7. Which is an excellent brush although expensive. A cheaper and similar quality is the rosemary & co brushes notably their series 33 and 22

That is an interesting point on the mega boob. From a composition standpoint I was thinking it makes sense for her to be hanging out on one side, contrasting her tough, armored soldier look on one side with the exposed, vulnerable look on the other. I think theoretically that could really work.

Then you see that boob and part of your brain thinks "Well, she isn't in too much danger there; that's what, 80% silicon anyway? She'll be fine."
Definitely a misstep there. We already know she is female without a doubt, no reason to over do it. A more scale bit of anatomy would probably have done the job much better.

Was iffy swallowed up by Path of Exile? I can't think of any game that got some prominence recently...

Yes I have had an insane last week and a bit, between Akumakon, painting lessons on my weekend, and the absolutely crazy Magic Pre-Release weekend for magic the gathering, I've had no spare time. I'm coming home from work and just falling asleep after dinner, it's quite pathetic.

Also managed to pull something in my back this week at work and can't sit properly till it gets better ( hence no updates :( ) but it's far better than it was earlier and I am going to spend my day off today properly having a day off, laying on the sofa and letting it stretch out. First real day off in far too long.

I have completed models to shoot and some fun random things too, I just need to shoot them and getting into position with my camera is killing my back. I think I've entered old age. Ughhh.

The next few weeks have 0 crazy things happening at work so they will be far more relaxed and I will have more time to internet and say hello \o/
