Ah she's still work in progress I only have that size plastic at the moment so was doing the best with what I had around for the props, and the nose is a nod to the C-130 Hercules who do have that little bulb nose (kinda cute really)

I'll see what i can find to bulk the blades out on the propellers and i'll attempt some panel lines too, it's my first Orky conversion or build so I'm loving the input

and yes GFX! I did say that!

Do you have access to any Koptas? The blades from those would look wicked awesome on your Dakkajet!

Cool concept on the props, I haven't seen anyone else do that. And it is so perfectly Orky. Dey git whutz dey fine an' fixz it wif lotz o' gubbins an' red paint.

and secondly on the agenda for tonights meeting, it's the sale of Slaanesh! yes, that's right folks it's been pondered and bought forward to entice a sale I was going to swap shop them but seeing as some are resin models of well known brands i thought it best to parlay in my own thread with offers!

So, what am i asking and what have I got?

I have painted:

10 raging heroes Demonettes

1 Custom built Heldrake- Hell-Sak

1 Custom Chaos Lord- Azreema

1 slightly customized Maulerfiend

1 custom and well hung veiny Demon Prince

3 Hitech Oblits

5 Assembled and primed Termies

and the lot painted


I'm also going to include with the sale, an unassembled Mauler Fiend in resin, an unassembled Emperor's Children Contemptor Dreadnought in resin, an assembled and primed and partially painted Decimator Daemon Engine, purple dice & the mold for scale armor. so all you need is to add some troops and you're set!

now for the kicker, how much? would I be asking too much for $300 Aus + post? let me know if you or anyone may be interested in helping out

I think you're underselling it to be honest.

Buying those units alone would be about £300 (AUS$515). And that's UK prices, not AUS
Then count in your conversions, the amazing paintjobs etc, I'd say asking less than AUS$600 would be an insult to the army and your ability.

Yes, you're right about the costing of the models there Ovion, :-) a few pennies were spent, but it was a project I enjoyed and got some good skills out of the process, plus not everyone wants Slaanesh lol! and i've always tried to be fairly reasonable and only ask for what I need even though I know I could hold off and ask a higher price if I really wanted :-) and this way it also gives me a reason to visit and paint all the models I have for my Guard and Flesh Eaters again! and maybe have a game and a battle report!? they've been collecting dust for far too long and I even have a unbuilt StormRaven I want to Damo-ify :-)

And I will almost certainly at some point go "You know what this needs?", followed by throwing more models Damo's way.

When you posted that Damo, the first thing I did was calculate the conversion... then check my bank account. Unfortunatly this close to Christmas I have to behave myself. :( Sounds like it's going to a good home though.

Thanks Gits, I think anyone who likes my work and is here a bit would make a great home for them :-) and I dunno, I don't think i can see you being a bad guy army anyway! Whalemusic will nurture them for sure and i think his evil plan was to relieve me of them as a project to give me more time to paint his commissions lol!

That would be great! I've got a small, so far unpainted, CSM force, and bits are always good. For sure happy with it. Putting it down as a steal in my book.

It saddens me to read that you are going to sell this army.
And it saddens me even more that I cannot afford myself to buy it.

That is a fantastic looking army Damo. Must be a shame to see it go, even if it is going to a friend.

Really sorry to hear about your troubles, pal. I really hope it all works out for you without too much fuss. It's a real shame you're having to sell those beautiful Slaanesh after all that hard work but I'm sure you've got lots more exciting stuff to keep you busy. Hey guys! Az, yes, I still have my Orky side project but I've been stern with myself and i'm not to get too involved until next year rolls around :-) that way I can get some neglected models painted and then go all fresh for 2014! I really love the way i can do the skin on them and want to see how i go with some more characterful modeling.

I was actually a bit suprises at the speed in which Whalemusic bought it! and i'm very grateful too! :-) so now for a while you'll be seeing my Flesh Eaters, my Guard army and terrain *insert Orkmoticon thumbsup here...*

I'm actually in a similar boat, I just happened to be off that day. Normally, like now, I have to vpn in to my home network from my work pc because Dakka is work blocked.

Anyone know anything about this mini? I can remember seeing the models likeness on the codex cover but haven't seen this before? I'm guessing this is a good copy but was it originally a limited release or something?
