For everyone curious, you can find the 5 piece Strauss sets for around $50 on amazon. It's really what you want to get.

While ambiguity and shades of meaning are great for novels, they make for poor board game instructions.
Besides, there should be one big summary page for the rules, and small charts about the nitty gritty stuff, so we can glance and refresh our memories when we haven't played in a year. I don't have much to add to the overall discussion here, but I need to say this post is pretty much amazing. Excellent job summarizing a slew of issues (and their influence on the present conversation) in one paragraph.

Exactly! But one thing is not so different, and that´s the job thing. Nearly the same over here in Europe with some states like Germany a little bit better of, but still quite close.
As much as I love the intended structure of the american schooling system (something that properly done we really need over here in Germany) the execution is as bad as with ours. Writing as you hear it as the first thing is just double learning and unlearning and bullimic learing as well.

Just giving a heads up, if you were missing anything make sure to email CMON sooner than later so you can get a reply. I was getting a little frustrated in my last email and then they replied immediately (whether coincidence or not doesn't matter!) and will be getting my missing pieces out to me ASAP.
For the record if you got multiple biohazards, make sure you got all your bonus sets! Mine had 3 pizza boxes, 2 were empty and 1 only had a single biohazard set. I was also missing my lights out set! In the excitement of popping open our main boxes, I am sure some of us may have forgot to check our stuff out fully, so I advise you do a count.
Also for those with multiple box sets, can you confirm that the bases inserted are:
A) Entirely Random (In my two box sets I did not have the same amount of the same bases).
B) Not counted! In both of my sets I had a discrepancy in base count. In the first set I was short a small base and had an extra large base. In my second set I had 3 extra small bases and 1 large base short.
I didn't bother asking for the bases replaced or any figures fixed but if you are missing anything contact them ASAP and check out your box contents. For those of you with a single box, opening it and counting the contents out is pretty important to. This is probably common sense for most of us but after my excitement to open my main box... Curious to know exactly how bad the shrinkage is on the models as a whole.
There is a picture of a resin hurley and plastic one and it look BAD, though the photo is about 2x zoom or so.
The only model I can compare right now is the resin and plastic Akosha
plastic 28.29mm from bottom of right foot to the top of the head
Resin 28.28 Same distance
I have a few models coming to judge the shrinkage compared to the metal and resin line.
If there is major damage all around (basically plastic being a new scale of sorts) I wonder how this will affect further development down the road, especially if Mike wants to do some single metal releases or whatever. Would he try to make them into scale of the plastic line or the metal.
The above measurement of Akosha basically shows no difference in scale, the plastic is actually .01mm taller than the resin.
her rifle actually increased in size a bit too
27.01 Plastic
26.27 Resin
My micrometer is accurate within .01mm
And I am excessive scale nazi to an unhealthy degree.

As long as they're not as off as the Black 13th, it's all gravy in my boat.
Man, I wish they'd resculpt those models.
And then have a trade in program.

They're more realistically proportioned and a little smaller, so they seem pretty tiny compared to the rest of the line. They look much a bit like a Confrontation human.
I think they're some of the nicer PP minis, but are out of scale. I just put mine on rocks.

Thought I'd share this.
I had this idea in my head for doing the drone base with a glow from the engine. I didn't want the base to be silver so I decided to make the decking look rusted. All my bases will be painted this way. I then used an airbrush to spray the blue for my engine glow affect.
The base painted to look rusted
The blue effect added
And the unpainted drone shown to give you an idea of the final look

The post above was just an observation (we really got a lot of complaints when we released rules in the US that were mighty fine for the folks in the UK).
And before some complain that I have no experience with life in the US. I have been living for quite some time in Texas. It was not only me that had problems, also my american colleagues sometimes just wanted to strangle certain persons. If they would have given in, we would have had the police in our house for murder investigation nearly every day. I have never experienced anything similar in the rest of the world. I am not saying that there are no nice and intelligent americans, but they were fewer than elsewhere.
@boards
I got three full sets.
Mine arrived slightly damaged, but will be replaced soon. Boards in the add-on package were quite fine and the damaged ones were all damged in the same places so it was probably a machine defect that caused the damage. QC should have noticed it, but as long as I get my replacement I will not complain.
Else everything is fine.
Well there's your problem. You live in Texas. Texas is it's own country. Automatically Appended Next Post:

So I played a few more games. Only on the second mission, as we like to play each one a lot with different people and sides. So its 60 points a side and vanguard have to hold out for 5 turns basically. I wouldnt see why you wouldnt use 3 Grenadiers. I never used them before myself but my opponent used one and he took out most of my army by himself.
The Gravnade - Singulairty marker. You hit the target, him and everyone in the 3x3 space takes 5 damage, then any models starting their turn in the field or ending their turn take 4 damage. Cant use reflex abilities and move at half speed. Soo all revs instant die basically, Stalker dies, Witch...dies Anyone think its a bit to good?

It is offical for the time being...
For the Grenadier Rulings..
Cant target open square
Their bouncer marksman ability can only be used in active mode
The zone from Gravnade lasts until start of next vanguard action phase
And Rad Grenades only remove 1d6, not all.
But I see no reason to not take 3 of them, as they kill any area of 9 hp models and lower before they can do anything. Spredding out really isnt an option atleast in mission 2. Maybe house rule them to 15 points a guy..

Umm, pretty sure there was some ruling that only the target takes the stated damage and the rest suffer the effects? Not positive on this, but pretty sure it's the case.
Either way, some Strain minis' reflex is on the attack, not the damage, so at least those can scatter before shot.

That's what I thought too, but the FAQ is laid out so strange its hard to really figure out all the rules for the different weapons. The FAQ as is , is bringing up more questions than solving. Until there us a final FAQ and update it's still kind of up in the air.

I finally figured out where mine is. Was sent to my old address, despite me updating my shipping details before the package shipped.
The shipping slip pdf they have on the website has my current address, yet it seems to have been shipped to my old address. To make things worse, the redirection service I paid Australia Post for which should re-route all my mail to my new address failed and let this be sent to my old address. So it's been sitting, waiting to be picked up at my old post office.
Now re-routing it to me, but it will be later this week till I get it. Annoying as hell. Hope it hasn't been damaged at all. I am definitely going to let CMON know to double check my delivery address, as I don't want this to happen for my remaining Zombicide or Sedition Wars stuff.

Mine arrived yesterday! So many bags of minis, didn't crack them open and start counting as didn't have the time last night. Will do it tonight for sure though. Will also need to get on the CKPM to be sure everything arrived.
Initial impressions are favorable though. Only issue I have at first glance is I can really see what people were saying about the tokens being printed off centre. Some of them actually go a little onto the board and off the cut out. The vast majority of them are hard up on the left hand side . Here's an example image:
Otherwise though from what I can see the rest looks good. Will start clearing flash off the minis and making sure everything is there when I get home.
EDIT: Here's a wider view of one of the panels of tokens also:
