The front of the mortar mounting would look better angled at 45 degrees instead of being vertical? Otherwise, looking good.

Will this be a traditional muzzle-load mortar or some sort of breach loader? Either way, its shells are going to weigh a lot, so some sort of ammo loading gubbins will be needed.

Also for those who are interested, here is the tank on a set of ChapterHouse wheels. It's just sitting on them right now, I think you would want to move the wheels down a little to get some clearance. But I was shocked to see how perfectly they fit in the front. You might need to add an axle extension on the back to make the second rear tire actually connect to the chasis at its mounting point.

I'm curious, does the Hefaistos have a lower profile than the regular tank chassis? I like the tank as a troop transport, but it seems like it has too high of a profile for a proper MBT. Think you guys might try your hand at a futuristic main battle tank at some point?
