We'll find out soon enough eh.

See that GW? That was me spending £70 on your starter set, through your own online web store, three minutes after you made it available. I suppose the idea that people stop being excited and desiring of quality products if they find out about them more than seven days in advance IS spurious nonsense afterall then
EDIT: Bloody broken return key, stop posting before I'm ready
The images on GW's site are...breathtaking. Dat Chaos Lord Dat Hellbrute I'm seriously impressed, even the Ravenwing bikes are crammed with detail, and not the blubberous, misshapen stuff that looks half-melted into the main model either, it's pretty damn crisp. The Cultists have me even more excited now, because seeing them properly has me thinking about how easy it would be to turn about 70% of those into filthy-cheap Tallarn guardsmen with just a tad of greenstuff work and some hobby knife shaving.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.
"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal |

So I can't even buy a regular set untill next week? Not that I am complaining cuz I get another renner at the end of next week and am splitting with a friend.
Do you guys think I should sell on the cultists to this friend? He wants them for a diorama but I don't really want to atm. I wanna wait to see their rules but I don't know.
Also, how much do you think the Minirulebook is worth if being sold on its own? £20?

The normal will be instock when they run out of Limited.
For me, the cultists are amazing models, the fact GW has actually released cultist models is amazing.

Don't sell 'em if you don't want to. Simple. You won't have a problem selling them even if your mate gets them from elsewhere, those things are gonna be gold dust.
Mini rule book, I'd say £12, check the bitz sites and ebay to see what people have had them up at.
You can't argue with saving cash in this day and age either, go for Wayland. Or save more and go through Total Wargamer, you just have to get it delivered then, though surely the saving is worth it.

Spikey bits are preordering the individual mini rulebook at $29.99 (about £18) but considering the contents of the entire box on Spikey Bits add up to over $200, which is ridiculous, I reckon they will be going for a lot less on ebay. Probably a tenner sterling.

Knowing my luck. limited edition will all run out everywhere else and by the time I notice its up on mealstrom, it would be too late to get a limited edition
Do maelstrom usually do this with pre-orders? I hope they have actually got their stock in already.

Going by what the AoBR components sold for when it was first released, that actually sounds about spot on. Selling the models individually is always going to add up to more than the original set... there wouldn't be much point doing it otherwise. People will pay more per model to get just those specific models they want... the total price of all of the components is more or less irrelevant, because if you want the full box, you'll just buy the full box.
US$30 for the rulebook also seems about right. The AoBR one tended to sell for $25 to $30, although you could sometimes score it for as low as $15.

No gak sherlock. The point is $200 US dollars is almost twice the price of the full box. Ebay sellers, buying wholesale at 40% markdown can undercut that buy a huge amount and still make a decent profit.
