OH MY GOD just typical, right after I order it from another place maelstrom put theirs up, missed out on about an extra 10 quid savings. Seriously, can anything else screw me over today? :

edit: Oh no haha turns out it would only save me £3 Phew, rage mode is now in stasis. Normal energy levels returning.

Not sure if I'm gonna buy this or not. I really like the Chaos models but I don't know if I'm even going to keep playing the game anymore, and I have no use for models that I'm not going to be playing games with.

Having looked at the proper GW pics, my overall opinion is that the box set has a few very nice individual miniatures that I may pick up from ebay in the fullness of time, but collectively this is not as good as AoBR.

If anyone is buying multiples and is thinking of selling the rulebook, this poor Aussie would be interested in buying one of the mini-rulebooks.

Well, he hasn't played a game of 40K for a while - we may have gotten an inadvertent glimpse into the hobby that replaced 40K for him!

The price - well, I was only marginally interested in the faction involved anyway, and now, I'm only after the mini rulebook.

Well, it seems like the chaos force might be woefully under gunned, since there are Terminators and Bikes upon the field.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to buy one solo and convert the DA to plague marines or go halfsies a couple of times and double up on the chaos. I like the new chaos models alot. The only one I'm nonplussed about is the Helbrute. It has elephant toes and looks like a volkswagen bug/mini cooper from the back. The chosen look exceptionally good. It's probably too much to hope for that the standard CSM will be remodeled more to look like this and less Norwegian black metal-ish.

So you also prefer the change from Norwegian black metal CSM to Finnish Folk Metal CSM?

Theres a smaller amout of reports showing off the new senaros that you can play... But they have maxed out thew HQ's a libby and commander and if you wana order now and get an addtion HQ too! That you can use only in planetstrike or apco!!!!! And a demted chaos dread!!!! I think they could have atlest 5 more marines or troops so yoyu can have a 10 and 5 man troops choice. (finds 40k paint set) oh..... thats anouther 20 quid and the Uk are the lucky ones........ But I really wanna and am very jellious of the DA!!!! Its going to be a pain to remove all of the DA symobles for my smerfs.....

I just wanted to say that I think Chaos models in starter set are absolutely gorgeous. I'm green with envy. It must feel good to be a chaos player right now

Loyalist ones, not so much (especially terminator sergeant). Ravenwing is awesome though.

might wander up to our local GW stockist next Saturday to see if they have any in the models look real nice even though I dont have a chaos or dark angle army lol. But it will mean I dont have to keep getting the bible out every time we have a game!

It is just that. I'm going to wait and see if I ever start DA or Chaos this edition before I buy the relevant models from ebay.
