Lone marine scout, snipes my CSM terminators... rolls a 6 to hit, but a 4 to wound. Places the shot on my slaanesh aspiring champion, who fails LoS, fails armour save, fails FNP. The squad then fails a pinning check... come on!

Next match, I'm CSM again, playing GK. A fairly busy board with a ton of terrain and or squads in all the open places. So my opponnet tries to DS a DK in the open space about 10' from the edge to protect his last squad that is going to get rushed next turn. Scatters off the table (11' straight to edge) and 1 on the mishap. Next turn, tries to bring in squad of Terminators... 11" straight off table, 1 on the mishap table... basically game over.

2 Stories:
10 Kroot, 5 Space Wolves Terminators, 20 Kroot Rifle Shots, 4 terminators down.
and one Shas'O, one Skulltaker, one close combat, one skull bashed in by an XV-8 arm

I had a 5th Ed. Carnifex (w/ 2+ Save) charge my Inquisitorial Stormtroopers whose shooting put it down to 2 wounds. It killed all but the sarg, who promptly hit twice, wounded twice and with a double one for its save, it died a humiliating death.


Another: my friends Thunderwolf Lord with his Storm Shield (also down to 2 wounds) was about to charge my Devastators, my 4 Missiles Launchers failed the Snap Shot. But then I remember the Sarge still has a bolter, 2 snap shot hits, 2 wounds and another double one. Whoops.

I was playing against nids with my eldar.

Trygon Came up shot and didn't kill a single pathfinder (not too surprising they had a 2 up cover save).
My turn, nothing could take it down, i would either miss or not even wound.
Then my pathfinders shot............... 6 rends...............

My scout sergeant has taken out, over the course of many battles, killed:

(in one game) 2 leman russes, creed, kell and a company command squad
1 captain
1 daemon prince
1 land speeder
2 chaos lords
1 chapter master
3 predators
2 vindicators

him and his squad wield a meltabomb and close combat weapons.
the best one was in an apocalypse game. He infiltrated on the other side of a wall to Creed's CCS, spent two turns in combat (lost 2 men, killed everyone), climbed a fortress wall, meltabombed the first leman russ on the battlements, the second one turned and fired, killing the remaining two scouts of his squad, he then ran up to it and meltabombed that, survived the explosion, jumped off to avoid a lasgun volley, and time up.

as for otherwise, I had Lysander survive, while on one wound, alone, about 1000 point's worth of eldar (seer council, fire prism, a load of howling banshees, etc.) for four turns straight. Admittedly, he was just running away, but he managed to outmanoeuvre an entire army and outrun about 20 howling banshees.

I also had a devastator squad get four men wiped out by a hellhammer, so my lone multi-melta devastator failed morale, ran away (behind it), rallied, then fired one shot at it's rear armour. Penetrated, and three chain reactions later, it exploded and killed several nearby units, but somehow not the devastator.

I was running my Orks against my mates Imperial Guard in a Spearhead game - I finally got to use my Stompa.

After lots of shooting on both sides it took a single guardsman to explode my Stompa!

Back in 1999 (3rd edition) I was using my brand new lacannon-armed Chaos Dreadnought in it's first game.

On the very first dice roll of the very first turn I rolled a , ensuring it fire-frenzied. I had to fire a weapon at the closest model, which happened to be my (also brand new) predator. I figured that the heavy flamer would be safer than the lascannon, and so fired it at the side armour. What followed was another for a glancing hit, followed by another for a destroyed tank.

So my most ridiculous kill is of my own model!

My IG playing buddy played in a tournament and went heavy on the Democharges.

Apparently he had been issued with boomarang democharges causing more damage to himself then the enemy.

20 Chaos cultists with 8 autoguns, a flamer, heavy stubber and shotgun, the rest with pistols, destroyed a 5 man terminator squad in one round of shooting. they are getting promoted to marines

Back in 5ed I had 2 devastator marines with plasma cannons win a combat with a fifteen strong hormogaunt brood and then destroy them with sweeping advance.

A drop pod storm bolter killed typhus.

The last time I fielded mortars, I told my opponent they can drop on themselves and they promptly do so and kill themselves when I roll scatter.

You get the idea, when I declare things happen.

I had a Medusa siege artillery team from Death Korps of Krieg looking mephiston in the face 12" away. Hit with 2 of 3 pie plates (3 hits on the scatter dice in a row) and failed to wound even once (snake eyes). I shrug and take my flashlight shots and do 5 wounds 2 of which go unsaved and finish Mephiston off...I have never "forgotten" my flashlight fire again.

BTW I think Mephiston thought it was the dawn and ran in terror.

Back in 5th edition, a friend IG army was getting wasted by a custom Khorne army. His 20 man white-shield squad was wiped off the board by an 8 man bezerker squad. With nothing else working, I charged a ten man tactical squad into the bezerkers, and killed them to a man, without any marines dying.

Saint Celestine buzzing around like a bird in a room full of windows, killing herself on a dangerous terrain roll (having been shot down to 1 wound by Noise Marines earlier).

She gets up with one wound and jumps to engage something.

Kills self again.

Very first time I ever use my Big Mek with Shokk Attack gun I roll snake eyes. Next i roll to see how large the blast is and i roll a 6. My Big Mek was right next to my Lootas. Half the squad is blown of the table, the other half run off after failing LD.
The 2nd time i use my Big Mek he does ok turn one wounding a GK termy, then turn 2 he rolls snake eyes but then rolls 1 for explosion size.
Im dreading game 3, turn 3 . . . .

In a 3rd edition game, a lone Salamanders assault marine assaulting a full unit of Kroot with hounds, winning the combat, and running down the whole squad.

In my last game - my friend deep striking two Wych squads in Raiders, and proceeding to kill my two Carnifexes with splinter pistols.

"Walk it off Celestine..." I'm glad my St celestia (name of my celestine)hasn't had that happen to her yet.

My Lelith completely failing to hit (or wound when she DID hit), and being curbstomped by a ZZapp battery's gun grots.

Freaking hilarious, even if it did lose me the game

Once i had an opponent run Vulkan Hestan straight at my shas'o alongside 10 assault terminators. A fire warrior squad gun line whittled the squad down to just hestan, and a few turns later Vulkan was slain in CC by a gun drone attached to one of the body guards. GO figure!

My mate's five strong assault termie squad are coming at me, brushing off two rounds of 5x ML LF squad fire like they were dead leaves. Gets in assault range, snapshots go off (sgt fires too). Six 6's to hit, six 6's to wound, all 1's for saves. We both had to sit there for a minute to realize what had just happened.

My friend had two terminators die to overwatch by normal ork boys( with the choppas etc.)

Playing Imperial Guard back in 3rd edition, while retreating (not falling back) my Junior Officer hopped out of his Chimera and desperately shot a Blood Angels Dreadnought in the back with a bolt pistol, and caused it to explode.

A few weeks ago I had a solitary Fire warrior pop the back of a chimera. Rolled a 6 to penetrate and a 6 to damage. BOOM! See you later guardsmen!

Eldrad and the lone storm guardian he was with charged a Lord of Change (Lord was already down a couple of wounds thanks to some earlier shooting from the reapers). Eldrad does nothing at all in combat missing with all his attacks and gets squished by the Lord of Change. Lone remaining guardian then manages to pull down the daemon.

Sternguard vs. a pain engine(or whatever it is where he kills a model and you get a token)
Their transport is shot to pieces. They survie but the Pain engine tries to kill one, he makes the save.
Next turn involves hellfire rounds into it..........3 wounds, 3 faild saves.

Apoc game 14k per side. I charged a unit of 7 gretchin with runt herder. Kill 4 gretchin, only to have the runtherder put 2 wounds on Vulkan to finish him off. So embarrassing!!!

For some random reason i decided to run my bike captain with a power lance and a plasma pistol for fun one friday night.

I drew up against dark eldar with wytch spam and Lileth running around like a suicidal maniac.

My captain and his band of merry men blew up her raider. She then charged, i overwatched.

The plasma pistol hit and successfully wounded, she then fails her LOS and he invul!

Not for me but my opponent was pretty pissed after trashing talking how bad lileth was going to kill me.

Speaking of Bikers. I had a Biker boss, take shots from an entire 1000pt Marine force. They all either failed, or I made my saves. Then last ditch effort, he had a hbolter pred with a storm bolter on top. Stripped 2 wounds with the heavy bolter, and took the final wound with the storm bolter. I died laughing. He should of shot with that first and saved himself all that trouble
