Subject: Maybe it isn't Romeo... maybe it's Arizona.
Essentially the owners of a restaurant launched a diatribe against critics and even the guy from Hell's Kitchen told them to get the @#*& out when he tried to lend a helping hand.
So, what's going on down there in Arizona?

Yeah, there are a few stories around of various people going completely mental when people post or say negative (or even "not glowing positive") things about their company.
Happens all over, from tiny one man operations up to CEO's of massive companies (though obviously these are much rarer).
Telling Gordon Ramsey he doesn't know food is like telling a fish it can't swim. Signed their own death warrant.
Though as a long time viewer of Kitchen Nightmares, that kind of attitude is shown on the show a lot. I'm actually shocked that the article says this is the first time he hasn't saved a business. Watching the show for the past three years, I'd swear at least half of them didn't look like they were gonna make it.

Really? I thought quite a few of them went under.
That's what the article says not me. I don't believe it.

I know I've seen several episodes were the restaurant has gone under after he left, maybe this folded during his intervention.
I think the point is that the ones who listen to him and take his advice don't generally go under. It's the ones that revert back to their "old ways" or refuse to change that sink, by and large.
I'm less than a minute in and my opinion as to why they're in trouble is; spoiled princess with a thin skin who lives in a bubble, with ideas that far outstrip her talent, and a husband who enables her. In short a recipe for disaster
**edit**
Just seen the husband blow a gasket and he and his wife seem to have very similar personalities

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines
Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
Yeah, if anyone is skimming this thread and hasn't seen the video because you're not into reality TV or whatever (I haven't watched anything like that since the second season of Survivor), I assure you, it's totally worth the watch, super entertaining.

It is?
How do enough people still go there with that reputation?

I'm guessing for the spectacle. According to the links azazel provided above they recently had a grand re-opening. With 10% of the proceeds going to an anti cyber-bullying charity. Maybe they should have looked for a source of bullying closer to home

Really?
Cyberbullying is something that happens to kids in school, not Restaurants.

Most of the posts (including one that read "come to my business. say it to my face. man to man. my wife is a jewel in the desert. you are just trash," and a comment response explaining, "WE DONT LET SLUTTY BITCHES LIKE YOU HERE") have since been deleted and replaced by this message:
And many other examples besides

I watch that video and I think "My god woman, please tell me you weren't born looking like that." There is such a thing as too much makeup. Man these people have problems.

I usually start off rooting for them to succeed and salvage the business, and only about halfway do I think...hmm maybe its better if this place folds..I was 2 min into the show and already want them to get curbstomped my Mr.Ramsey, and go out of business, it usually takes a bit more of the episode to highlight that bad of a personality problem.
Oh well , now just to watch the rest and count Gordons bleeps.
