I'm pretty excited about this project, too. I hope it really takes off. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a gamer and my involvement in the social aspect of the hobby is very limited. How can I help?

I'm so glad this funded! I'm dead broke right now, otherwise I would have tossed in some money. I love the design of the Glorlons and look forward to being able to get some when my finances get better.

I've pledged. I will probably add an add-on or two. If there's a Backerkit-ish pledge manager later, I'll probably make use of it.

We´re reaching the end of the campaign and many of you are asking whether it is worth purchasing the Starter Set now or it´s better to wait to buy it in retail.

The Starter Set in retail will include the following:

1 T94 Colonial Tank
1 Colonial Trooper Squad (9 miniatures)
1 Colonial Lieutenant
1 Glorlon Biotank
1 Glorlon Soldier Squad (5 miniatures)
1 Glorlon Mentor

So, on Kickstarter you will recieve more than £70 of miniatures for free:

Realy hope some late-comers chip in now at the end so that we get some stretchgoals as well!

That's not likely.

The first few stretch goals are...uninspiring, or so it would seem.

This one is actually in danger of backsliding past the funding goal:

Man its gone under the 30K. I will upgrade my pledge to Colonel in a few days if it is still at this mark to get us over the line.

I don't really need that many models as I want to go hard core into Elohim when they are released, but this needs to get off the ground.

Will be a crime if this doesn't get funded.

I plan to expand my pledge in a day or two, depending on available funds. Will there be a backerkit?

Also, what are the odds of the Elohim character appearing as an add on?

Thanks to all the supporters!
I´m sure we can make it. Unfortunately we have some people who have leave us this days, hope they will trust in us again.

After the campaign we will have a pledge manager to allow extra addons, with maybe some surprises

Like others here, I'm in until the end. I wouldn't worry too much. At the 24 hour mark, once a project is funded people can't cancel or reduce pledges if it will cause it to go unfunded. The silly games people are playing right now will go away.

In the future, you may want to think about going the USD route instead of Pounds. By Fire and Sword out of Poland pulled in over 80k US and gave away minimal freebies, plus charged for shipping to everyone. I'm sure they would have done much lower if they went the UK route, but they ran an excellent campaign, much as you have.

This one reminds me of Torn armor - an amazing looking game and a great deal that very nearly didn't fund for some unknown reason! Just came about at a weird time and people were pulled in too many directions - too many amazing kickstarters all at once.

I am really tapped out and have no money to dedicate to this very cool looking game, but I bought the Gollarian commander to show my support.

Cheers.

Don't take it too hard - it's probably just pledge trolls doing what they do best. They're on every KS. If I had the cash I totally chip in.

Really glad there is an 'add-ons only' pledge level for this - will get some of those really cool looking human troopers, and the tank which looks an awful lot like the one from the Manga movie Venus Wars!

I Cant believe it hasn't been posted already, but they unlocked the Stakan as an Add on already. And lowered the Lurchers unlock.

Throw some money st these guys. They deserve it.

I SOOOOOO want to add the Stakan, but I'm already stretched thin financially as it is and it's pushing it with my current pledge. I might cave though if we can add-on in the pledge manager.

Honestly I don't know why this KS did not get more traction... Great concepts, as long as they can execute it looks to be a fine product.

Any resemblance of this post to written English is purely coincidental.

I didn't pledge for this but I've been watching it and I was surprised this game didn't take off and become a big hit. I can't speak for the many others that opted out of this game but I can tell you a few reasons I'm not interested.

1: The premise is stale. Aliens vs. colonial marines is timeless but this setting looks very generic. It may actually be very exotic and thoughtful but they didn't present that on the front page.

2: You need at least four armies for a miniatures game to take off. I understand that other factions might eventually be unlocked through stretch goals but they needed to be in on the ground floor. As another example, take a look at Dust Warfare. That game is struggling for traction even with three factions out at retail.

3: the gameplay overview is awful. The video is a poor visual example with it's monochrome layout and no real visual cues what it is talking about. The audio is also very bad. Their radio sound filter makes it very hard to understand the narration. Much like the setting/background I'm sure if I was more interested I could download the rules pdf or click some of the other links but their main sales pitch fell very flat for me.

Please don't take any of the examples above as malice toward the project. I hope it succeeds and does well after release. I just wanted to share my thoughts as someone from the outside looking in.

We have a lot of doubts about the cost of this model, but fortunately we could make a short run at a affordable price. So we can announce:

The Stakan has arrived!!

@Solkan The discount of the Warmill terrain is 20%

@Dais Thanks for the feedback. We will try to improve what we can on this campaign and next.

I personally think the answer is simple, lack of experience. I had not heard of this company before and although the concept is great, there's more risk because of that. And this one will have raised over $50,000 anyway, not bad at all! Torn Armor did so and even a bit more. For the huge lack of experience Torn Armor had compared to, say, Dreamforge, I thought that was really good. Dreamforge only raised just over $200,000, with a lot more history behind them.

Now Sentinel Games may have more experience than the folks behind Torn Armor did, but they're not nearly as known as Dreamforge was when DF did a kickstarter, and name recognition goes a really long way on these risky ventures.

I may go in for just an add-on before the end, but I'm trying to cut myself off on kickstarters for the year as it got expensive towards the end here.
